You don't need to learn Kenyan Luo you know Luo that's the language .the problem you Luo outside Kenya sub divided yourselfts in Kenya we are all Luo dispute as coming from different sub Luo tribes from Sudan Uganda and Tanzania
I honestly don understand anything in this language bt I must I must say it has the best dancers 😍 just rushed to you tube after learning abt a holiday through IRENE AYAA TV
@@bhanjijunior08 15-20%??? what the hell are you talking about? The Acholi are part of the larger LUO ethnic group. They literarily come from the same ancestors. The language similarities between the smaller sub-clans of the "Luo" ethnic group is above 80%. These clans include; Acholi, Langi, Dholuo, Kumam, Alur etc...It's not 15-20%. It's 80% or above depending on the tribe. Do some history before writing something you have no understanding of.
@@bhanjijunior08 In which case, you could've said "I can only hear/understand about 20% of what she's saying". This sentence would assure as of your meaning. In your comment you specifically stated that "It is like 15-20% similar,". Which is not the case. Did you consider the fact that what you're hearing is maybe only 5% of the entire acholi vocabulary? Did you consider the fact that half the time she spoke in english and only use her traditional language for minimally?

Here watching Acholi..am proud to be a Luo
This language is almost identical to Luo we speak in Kenya and Tanzania!
True, just slight differences . Maro is to love. Lobo is earth, globe, soils.
It is like 15-20% similar, a native Luo speaker can get the context of the song but .... not hear through the whole of it. So, it is not that similar
