This is another long clip because there's a lot to show. I shot it in stereo with two amps to show the unit's full potential. If you're looking for the 'looper' part, it's right at the end of the clip.
The HardWire Delay/Looper delivers big time. Packed with a ton of different delay types, it feels and looks like it's built to military standards and has fabulous sound to boot.

Can you get that Hint of just ECHO with a slight fading delay with classic and Metal Distortion? Could you please do a Demo of that ? Also,does the pedal change the power (volume)of amp when switched on or off? These are imortant issues.

are you volume swelling at 6:12 or is it the pedal doing that?
There are two outputs on the DL-8, each going to an amp which is panned left and right respectively. When the pedal is ON, the signal is WET. Wet/Dry mix is controlled by LEVEL. When the pedal is OFF the signal is DRY. No chorus pedals were used in the making of this video. Any modulation you hear during the dry moments is possibly due to mic phasing or UA-cam aberrations. Any modulation you hear during wet moments is due to the pedal's algorithms. Sentences begin with capital letters.

All this video aimed to do when I made it 3 years ago was give a literal aural representation of the left and right outputs from this pedal and this pedal only. Hence the hard panning. However, I appreciate your suggestions as I'm sure many others do. I looked to your channel to see evidence of your musical prowess but found only videos by others on fireworks. A further search of your username yielded many links to your opinions on others but still nothing musical. Odd. Enlighten us, please.
i have this pedal also and it is really good for a delay on solos but it in send and return rigt setting and go.
What do you say? Is it usable in the effects loop?

so, can you loop with delay? i read something like, "... [some mode] is disabled when in Loop Mode..." this pedal sounds amazing, but i'd like to loop something and then play something with delay over it, or i would like to have delay and loop something, then play over it with delay as well. btw, i'm not going to get the pedal anytime soon, but when and if i get it, i would like to know all the features and capabilities. i would love to compose some ambient music, and i need certain capabilities

I just ordered a 65 Princeton Reverb to go with my Super Champ XD. I have a Digidelay that i think is the same pedal without the looper? Question: Will this pedal (with stereo out) still feed the guitar signal to both amps when the pedal is "off"?

Really good vid. Thanks for the extra effort of running in stereo. Does the looper mode work intrue stereo? What I mean is if you put say, a streo chorus in front of it would the stereo effect be looped? Fancy a wee demo of that?

You have a 20 second loop. So the chord progression would need to be 20 seconds or less. Take your foot off the pedal and it will loop endlessly. then you can hold the pedal again to record whatever on top of that within that 20 second limit. Repeat as needed.

Great demo. I really like the modulated mode. Distortion with subtle chorused delay is one of my favorite tones. This does it perfectly, in one pedal none the less! Love the hardwire line!

When you place the delay in stereo mode, do you connect it to the FX looper? I can see you have only 1 input, so did you just put them on the guitar input jack?

When you use the looper mode do the looped parts come out of both amps at once? I have a problem where I record the looped section but the next layer I add pretty much completely overrides the first. I am using much higher gain tone though so maybe that has something to do with it...
Aanyone have tried in a serial loop?? It drop the volume when is it enganged?

I bought one and I have absolutely no idea how to use it. 80% of the effects are cut off almost immediately (I tried switching tails on and also when it's off) and both tape mode and looper mode are exactly the same thing. Could it be that my unit is defective?
This pedal is very easy to use. Do you use the right adapter? Can't think of anything else.
