      Get some cool stuff out of it little bit minus the technical difficulties and the gain staging issues which I got sort out but otherwise I thought pretty cool too cool little midi controller

    I thought it was only gonna work in the DAW format. That's pretty dope! Also that green kumite shirt is giving me the feels.

      Ninja 🥷 turtle🐢 green is the best yeah dude just plug it right into your synthesizer when you got this sweet little noodle pad. It’s awesome for 100 bucks.

      @@synthsamuraiproductions that really is good. How many synths can it sequence at a time?

      @TheMachinesWon this is am figuring out you know me just took out of box plugged in and went for it lol

      @@synthsamuraiproductions of course haha 😆 when I saw the one synth I wasn’t sure if there was a limit or how far you could take it. If it could sequence all ur gear like a brain or even 3-4 pieces, that would be a serious sequencer for the money. Even just one is dope tho for what it is

    The tempo pad meter is picking up your voice

      I know thats so weird cause i didnt know it had a mic built in. Maybe its for sampling into the software ill look into it

    I took a look at their guide and could not find anything on chords per pad, onboard arp/sequencer, or scales. (It does look like you can program your own scales with the software) It has been out forever and costs twice as much, but it is still hard to match beatstep pro for features and workflow.

      Yeah i got a beatstep pro but that sucks for live noodling. Great for sequencer maybe ill pair them up. I cant find anything about this having a sequencer yet, be awesome if it did. But its great noodle pad for 80-100$

      @@synthsamuraiproductions what?!? In addition to great sequencing it is fantastic for live. Key and octave change with the simple press of a pad and 16 easily assignable live knobs. Spend a few minutes setting it up with only 3 or 4 notes from a particular scale across 4 or 5 octaves. Then pop in a quick very sparse sequence to run on track 1 and switch to track 2 to noodle. Take the time to try that and I promise it will become a major go to for you in making tracks.

      @klstay love it as a sequencer. But as a noodle box i think the synido layout better im just talking noodling you got all 4 octave on the boards easy to quickly up and down. I think both would
      Be a combo tempo pad midi into beatstep pro.

      @@synthsamuraiproductions that is one of the things many/most overlook about BSPro and what I suggest. Pick a key, create a user layout with 4 of the 7 notes in it, then you have 4 octaves on 16 pads with velocity and aftertouch plus 16 live knobs. Not everyone likes to "cut" notes from a key, but I like those sparse setups for a lot of things; especially if you keep the 4 notes used in specific chord progressions.

    Pros/Cons vs Akai and Novation pad controllers?

    • @synthsamuraiproductions
      @synthsamuraiproductions  12 днів тому

      @@miekwavesoundlab pad sensitivity is amazing, build quality is great. No sequencer or arpeggiator is a bummer.
      Im strictly using it as a midi controller for hardware, i think it goes deep with the DAW integration but im not a daw guy.
