I remember the kids play area Tom Sawyer’s landing there were nets to climb and ropes I think even a ball pit at one point. There was also the tree house and that’s seating area and stage was a kids coaster. Pretty sure the balloon ride also used to be there. We went every summer as kids so many memories.
Thanks for the tour. Haven't been in a few years. Hope to get back this year. Must be nice to be back on the track and seeing the old Bolin Shack baby!
Huh, looks like a more modern version of Knott's Berry Farm. I first went to KBF in the 60's with my parents, and then went back in 2016 with my Dad. This is in Branson? I've only gone through Missouri once... on a bus. I wonder if I could "bound" as a Union soldier? My older kids used to be ACW reenactors. Yeah, I was a lovely bloated body.
That conductor for the train is my absolute favorite! (No offense George). He’s so funny and keeps everyone engaged while waiting in the train station. He told us all about how the Hershand brothers bought the train and thought they’d loose everything. The Bolan brother in the middle does such a great job of playing the robber that anytime my 8 year old sees him somewhere else in the park he whispers to me ‘they let the bad guy out of the woods’ 🤣
The conductor here is Gary, and yes he's very good. I believe the robber you're talking about (the tall one) is Kevin/ Huff, who I actually worked with back when I was there. This was a really good crew that day.
I admit I've not been over there for a few years myself due to moving to South Dakota. There is one shop though I've not seen anyone take footage of yet and that's the new location for the Magic shop. I've not seen anything on it and I'm curious do they still do magic shows?
Is Fire in the Hole usually that busy? I don't hear much about it so I'm wondering if that has to do with the possibility of it getting removed. Also, sometimes I watch videos silently with the subtitles as to not disturb thither occupants of my house. I know they're auto-generated but if you can change them at all, might be a good plan.
Fire in the Hole isn't always that busy, but it was a busy day and word is getting g out this might be its last year. Re: closed caption I simply don't have the time to sit down and type out what is said word for word. To many other things on my plate. Was the auto captioning especially bad on this one?
that was good fun

Been there that Sunday after opening day. So glad to see a couple of friends over at the train.
I’ve never stopped into the frisco freight barn! Adding that to my list for next time

Sort of but it's much much larger than Knott's and it's in the Ozarks which is beautiful in itself. It's a really special place.
If I sign the Vulcan Salute up at those look-out towers, will the guards do it back? 🖖😆
lol they may or may not see you, but you likely wouldn't be able to see them.

@@SirWillow I like him too! My son recognizes the shorter one. This is a great crew all around!
Thanks for the look. One of these days, I would like to visit SDC. May God bless you and yours and keep these videos coming.
When you get the chance to visit park you won't be disappointed everytime I go I love it
@@BLaymon060 Thanks for the comeback. It all depends on my health and finances at the time, but I look forward to it.

It's still there but in a different location. it's over by Powder Keg now, but they do still do the magic demos when they have the workers.
What was the fire and what did it destroyed?
16:50 - Being nice to Craig by not singing it yourself?

I'd say its worth looking into because it is pretty bad. It wasn't family friendly that's for sure.
