Thanks for the review! Been struggling with forearm pump. This season I got the 5mm pre curved Mystic lobster claw gloves and that has helped but still get fatigued after about an hour. They are super warm though, I've never gotten cold hands. Water and air here in NE of the US is 3 degrees Celsius right now. After watching your video these look like gloves worth trying. Oceania's website also recommends the dolphin gloves, have you had a chance to try those?
Hi, I just got Dolphin model to try and they a bit warmer than Leopard Shark as they use different latex material (sandblasted). I went out for 2 hours and felt that it performs better. But in your extreme cold conditions I'd go with Orca as they are the warmest but also thicker but not as much as neoprene. I think the biggest benefit is that they don't soaked wet like neoprene and latex protects from windchill. I hope it helps. Thanks!
Thanks! Last weekend I was out for 4 hours in +10C air and +7C water. First hour with Orca but it felt too warm and then changed to Leopard Shark. No problem with grip at all it felt almost the same like with bare hands but I use harness a lot
Hello! Is the leopard shark much thinner on the grip side of the glove, in comparison to the orca? I have the Orca and they are great, but I have the feeling that I could wear a bit thinner version in temperatures around 5°C, as they are quite thick for me...
Hi, yes Leopard Shark are much thinner but in 5°C I'd use it with thermal undergloves and it's still will be thinner than Orca but I'd prefer Orca in that cold 🥶
@@dengordo ok thanks. I used the orca at 7°C last time without undergloves and it felt nearly too warm xD. Never had that warm fingers in winter. So I think Ill try the leopard shark next time just to have more direct feeling if they are thinner. Thank you!
@@richardclarke2213 Orca is for really cold weather. Last weekend was +12C but water only +7C and my hands were sweating with Orca, I changed to Leopard Shark and was out for 4 hours in total on that day. There is no way I could do that with neoprene gloves
Thanks for the review - it seems there’s a solution to cold fingers after all 🙌
Thanks. Yeah I wish found them earlier 🙌
Very helpful thanks!
Thanks!
Thx, was waiting for this. Convincing test review that these are the ones to have.
Thanks!
Thanks for reviewing the different Oceania gloves. I was wondering which to get. Seems like a big improvement over neoprene!
Thanks. Yeah it's a game changer for me. I thought that suffering from cold hands is inevitable.

Nice review! And you don't have cramps in your forearms because of the relatively thick gloves due to the increased grip force?

Great review Denis, I’m going for the orca
