Do Koi take over the pond? I want to put tilapia and catfish. But I don’t want the koi to over run it.
Not that I know of. At least not in my pond because the turtles eat the eggs.
You should think about getting an aerator.
I would like to have a water feature in there someday. The pond is quite large though and very deep so we haven’t needed one. They are thriving and huge now.
Grow your own, then add a pump.
