wow I just found your channel and I enjoyed your video. Very cool oven. I live boondocking in quartzsite@ roadrunner, shay road in parker, and Sidewinder near yuma. enjoyed watching your hunt. I just subbed to your channel and look forward to your video adventures!
Thanks for watching me and my dogs, RVRebelGirl! I’m really looking for our next stay in Q. Haven’t visited the places you mention. I still feel like a newbie nomad learning all the tricks and places to camp. Parker was visited for getting supplies at Walmart for us while in Q that’s about it. Safe travels 🌵🌲
Quite some time ago there was an American show about crystal mining and it looked fascinating to me. George lake? seems to ring a bell but not sure where it was filmed. At the moment I'm trying to get old maps of an abandoned town in the middle of nowhere in South Australia to go bottle hunting on my next bush camping trip.
The cool thing is I’m just finding them on the surface. Bottle hunting sounds fun, but I imagine you find many broken bottles. Like me finding broken crystals. It’s still fun though…
so quartzsite is good for heat, rocks, unpalatable plants, more heat. good your dogs love running around the place. nothing like a happy dog. but maybe should look into booties for your pups? not all dogs like them. but would be better on the paws, hot rocks can burn them, then those thorns. keep them healthy and happy.
You are so right! I’m always checking my dogs feet. I agree it’s very important. Luckily they have been very good about showing me when something is going on with their feet. Usually stickers. But sometimes the rocks or sand get too hot. Then I know it’s probably time to move on to cooler climates. 🌵🌲
I found a super clear crystal that looked like it was polished and ready to sell. I needed to use someones farm jack and tools and he wouldn't accept cash so I bartered and gave him the crystal. Quartzsite is a magical place...the magic circle is another magic place though 😂
He's thirsty, you goof. His expression says it all--- "ask me one more time if I want to go back to camp..." Must be the news that the canteen was invented. hasn't reached LaPosa LTVA yet.
It was an amazing feeling every time I found even the smallest of crystals… We stumbled upon a mining claim in this video: ua-cam.com/video/EogfIG36SS4/v-deo.html Watch this video about our overall Quartzsite experience: ua-cam.com/video/UCsAaO-CQbU/v-deo.html Do you have any crystal or gem hunting tips? Let me know 😮 💎
You have some really active dogs there! They seem happy to be outside exploring. Thank you for showing me your day. Be safe!

Dodge at the end thought he was getting a treat, nope its just a crystal. That oven looks great!
Your video’s are getting better and better!
The camp oven is awesome! I have no complaints at all!
Awesome! Thanks.
You're welcome!🌲🌵
This is exactly what I want to do❣️ Thank you for sharing your experience ☺️
This lifestyle is not for everyone, but I think everyone would enjoy it for at least a few days anyway… good luck out there and start simple…

What is causing the bottom two feet of the saguaros to be eaten away?
I heard it was some sort of disease. Most of the saguaro were healthy out there luckily. 🌵
@@GotOut odd how only the bottom part!

Wow! How do you get those low, smooth, fast running shots? Dodger: Here, let me clean that crystal for you, Dad ;-) Glad Eko is mending. Fun times!
It’s fun trying to capture the best dog shots! A lot of work sometimes, so thanks for noticing…
My spell checker only works after i push send , lol.

Wow sounds like a big crystal. I was only finding tiny ones, but still fun! Thanks for watching us, CHICO.
Some of us ride dirt bikes on over 11,000 acres out here and we do it year round. There's lots more than rocks here, trust me!!!
True lots of side by sides
Liquid bandage works real good let it dry and then they can't lick it off
Hmmm actually a good idea I have some liquid bandage in my kit, too.
Hey my friend, you might like the huge Crystal I have in my back yard. A little smaller than a soccer ball and probably weighs 15 to 20 pounds.
Ha! Too heavy for me… I always hope I only find SMALL rocks. I like to keep my rig as lightweight as possible…
I have stones and rocks that have been collected from all over the U.S. I inherited them from my parents.

It’s good to be in tune with the dogs and be able to read all their expressions. One of my favorite parts of being a dog owner. Thanks for watching 🌲🌵
those catuses look like people
🌵🌵🌵🌵
Ok the title didn't mention it was a dog show.
Haha true!

QZ looks miserable. I'm staying SD
Haha. I can see how it wouldn’t be appealing to some for sure. I love it every time. It’s a good place to at least visit for a few days.
The desert isn't a great place to be running and jogging around. There be critters out there that can flat ruin your day.
