      What a silly generalization. The TEAM must play well consistently. Enzo, Caicedo, Jackson, Sterling and everyone else.

    • @Bhavishya_ydv31
      @Bhavishya_ydv31 8 місяців тому +9

      Fully agree. Can’t leave Caicedo all alone against 3 men from the other team (what we saw against Liverpool and wolves). And do not play sterling too.

      @Bhavishya_ydv31 8 місяців тому +3

      @@jt19933 I have to disagree here. The flow of the team is majorly defined by the midfield. It’s the engine of the team. If midfield is doing well, the performance is more or less good. You can loose the game if forwards don’t do their job properly, but you won’t get battered like the wolves or Liverpool game.

      Pochettino's way of success is lowering the expectations to such a low level that it's impossible not to overcome it.
      11th after £1 billion squad at disposal and yet needs time. Bloody hell. Only took 3 days from us being utter dross against Wolves to convincingly winning against top 4 Villa away. How'd that happen?

    Who almost cried listening to him? Because the most part of his problems are the players missing glorious chances and conceding cheap goals.
    You can see him on the touchline confused because he doesn’t have a wildcard like Hazard or KDB or a player that would change the game when no one is performing.
    He has issues but this interview showed a side I don’t think I have ever seen in a manager before. I was Poch out entirely but this just bought some precious time to work on the team

      @@Azoria4 Wolves is a good team however Chelsea was poor in finishing on the day and their first 2 goals were from deflected shots (credit to Wolves brilliant counters). Then Gusto went juvenile and gave away an unnecessary pk. That said, Wolves may still have won but inconsistent team and individual play has been a bigger problem than Poch. Unfortunately, the average Chelsea fan is spoilt by 20yrs of instant success under Roman to think rationally.

    Difference between United in the 90's and this Chelsea team seems fairly simple. When the young lads were coming through back then, there were loads of experienced lads guiding them; Schmeicel, Robbo, Pallister, Bruce, Cantona, Keano etc; basically a whole match days worth of older more experienced lads where as this Chelsea team maybe a little similar to the Liverpool team back then; Their best players are the young lads coming through and maybe don't have the boys the guide them and keep feet on ground.
    Silva, Sterling and Chillwell are not enough to keep the 15-20 younger lads in check. They probably would have benefitted from having Azpi, Kante, Kepa, Jorginho, Alonso this season. Just my opinion.

    We as fans understand that it’s not all down to poch. There are a lot of issues. New team, young players etc. Team needs time to gel and understand each other. Inconsistencies will be there with young players. But our problem is that poch is not helping himself either. Some of the tactics he has applied are surely questionable. Like today he played Enzo and Caicedo comparatively much closer to each other. Enzo was playing a bit deeper and not close to the striker. We have been asking for this. He did not play sterling. We have been asking for that too. We are ready to give time but we need to see something on the pitch. Liverpool loss was somewhat acceptable, but the wolves game, no way. That was disgusting. If we see performance like this regularly, we are more than happy. We will loose games, but being 11th in the league is unacceptable. Get us top 6 atleast.

    I said it before and I'll say it again. Cole Palmer is inconsistent from game to game and does not fight for the team when they do not have the ball, always waiting to only get involved when the rest of the team has done the hard work to take the glory and headlines, and this is the reason Man City never played him and then sold him. I also said that there are players on the bench that do not lack those qualities, but are not being recognised because the media have brainwashed people into seeing him as undroppable to pressure the manager to put him against these other players and this game proved it. He was not involved in anything that contributed to Chelsea winning this game and the other players on the pitch were and showed their quality and fight both in attack, in defense and as a team fighting for each other, not themselves or for headlines. Sitting on the bench was another player who has fight and who has proved it all his career and has won titles to back it up and was picked for the same Man City team which Palmer was not and that player was Raheem Sterling. Chelsea have to decide if they are serious about achieving success or if they are just trying satisfy the media's fantasies about Cole Palmer because there is another player that has fight and will contribute more to the team when fit than Palmer and that is Nkunku and what will they do about Cole Palmer then. Will go for a team of players with fight as Man City and Liverpool do and that can succeed, or will they bench these players with fight both in attack and defense which successful teams pick and select the media's fantasy in which Cole Palmer runs about the pitch only if he feels like it, disjointing the compactness of the teams defense and letting the rest of the team do the hard work then popping up to try and take glory and headlines much as he does when someone does the hard work to win a penalty then he insists on doing the easy part of taking it. To win consistently, a teams ability to defend with fight is as important as attack and you need to select players in the team that have the ability to consistently contribute defensively with fight and in attack, just as Man City, Liverpool and Arsenal select which is why Palmer could not make the Man City team while Sterling was selected as the player Pep selected more than any other player in his record breaking managerial career. Peace and love

    The structure around Chelsea and everything associated with Chelsea is elite. This was created over the years and Abramovich was the foundation then Jose then trophies and an arrogance came with all the success players that were brought in were stars . However they obviously have lost that aura after Abramovich left .
    He was the foundation he also had terry lampard Cole all players who grew with the club but that's gone but the standard remains . Whoever comes in as manager player acts the part immediately and falls into the same concerns of continuing that standard on past exploits .
    Then after a month they find themselves not living to those high standards they were achieved through success and the maintenance of those standards is success....
    The difference with wolves is they are building a foundation and after last season the objective was safety.
    Players of class were sold and a bits and pieces team was left for GON to secure safety.
    There was no pressure to finish in Europe or even the top half the objective as been to stay out of the bottom 3. GON is started the construction work at wolves and he must get support financially and no pressure should be put upon him. GON shops in primark so he can only improve on primark and slowly Gucci Ralph Pravda will be where he could shop .

    One or two good performances where things go well or the opposition play poorly doesn’t make Chelsea a good side. There are so many things wrong at the club in terms of incompetent and ignorant ownership decisions and bizarre recruitment from Sporting directors who don’t listen to the manager, or plug obvious weanesses. Pocchetino hasn’t been great, though I think most of us realise that given the bloated squad of ‘players with potential’, who, with the exception of one or two, are yet to really show they are able to mature into good players, it is an uphill struggle to get to a consistently high level of play. But the weaknesses are glaring- inexperience, unable to control games, midfield often overrun, too many unforced errors, conceding too many goals, a lack of grit when things aren’t going well and a lack of clinical finishing, too slow in moving the ball. One could go on,
