  • From the Drama Menu collection, Gesture Line is a theatre game from Drama Menu 2: Second Helpings. This drama game encourages players to connect action to the spoken word and to maintain that connection for the duration of the work. This simple act of connecting gesture to text will automatically make for more energised work from the players and if they have the courage and confidence to share that energy with their fellow performers then, the playing area will be brought to life! This is a very useful exercise as it is quick-fire, fun and can be played by players of all ages (just tweak the lines to make them age appropriate)... I wish I was in this team, unfortunately, they all said that I am above excellent in theater, but I am not from your country, but I am in a country that is not very interested in theater 😥💔 They all represent money and the mediation of one person to another

I think he gave them a line each to act at the start and they have to give it a suitable gesture with their acting.

The gesture is also given so, it gives a physically connected and energised starting point to the improvised scene. The trick is to keep physically connected and to continue sharing energy throughout :).
