You could use felt fabric to cover your back wall... And it's a pretty inexpensive fabric so I don't think it would break the bank.... Plus you'll still be able to staple and thumb tack without leaving marks AND no wrinkles to worry about!

Since I homeschool now I miss classroom set up so much. I still do some like this year I changed themes in our homeschool room. I love your videos and get inspired to try more things in our space :) Keep the videos coming and you aren’t alone in loving to get into your classroom and get it beautiful even over the summer :)
We homeschooled for a while, and I loved decorating my homeschool space! I did miss a classroom space that was clean when I came back the next day hehe. That was harder at home!

Could you do shiplap on the bottom of the back wall like wainscoting, boarder like a chair rail, then put black paper above?
Looks so calming! Do you have to repaint back to the original color if you leave?
I’ve seen a lot of cleaning videos and the cleaning vloggers use a product called the pink stuff . Maybe it might help with your cork walls .
