While watching the show, I believed Mercedes was lying about the pregnancy. Now I think she was being completely honest. I'm sorry she lost her baby, but I think she dodged a bullet. She'd have been tied to that insane player for life, otherwise.

I do believe though that Mercedes and Chris are playing each other. I think that he was looking for an out on the marriage and they concocted a lot of it together BUT I do think she may have been pulling one on him while he was pulling one back on her and Paige.

@@TamaraLynetteTales Agreed, I had what they call a spontaneous abortion meaning the pregnancy aborted itself less than 8 weeks in. I didn't know I was pregnant because I hadn't missed a period yet. So when I went to the doctor notes said inconclusive uterine bleeding, possibly miscarriage. If you say you were pregnant, they add that to your notes. But based on how far along Mercedes should have been none of it really makes sense if what Chris says is true. He should have seen an ultrasound because they do those at 5+ weeks to confirm the pregnancy then again at 12 and 19 weeks. She was 8 weeks when they started filming and she didn't lose the baby until almost 2 months later so 🤷🏾♀️ Even the doctor's note looks suspicious to me.

A nurse on a different UA-cam channel said Mercedes hospital form stated her diagnosis as "miscarriage" but a hospital would never write that on a form, they will use formal medical terms like "automatic abortion" among others, but never miscarriage. In her opinion, the forms were not completed by a medical practitioner.
So if Chris was never in the hospital room and a medical professional would look at that document and conclude it's a forgery, who filled in the paperwork??

Yea, they called my miscarriage a “missed abortion “ or something like that.
Not necessarily true. All docs and EDs are different.
Medical billing is different than diagnosis though. I have a really hard time believing any hospital would write "automatic abortion" on discharge paperwork... that would be very, very upsetting to be mother who lost her baby, because of what the public perceives the word to be. I know people who were upset that the term abortion was used for terminating a fallopian pregnancy (which literally cannot come to term and would significantly harm the mother if not terminated.)
I don't think my mychart uses the coding terms either for things, but I'll have to double check.
I do agree though that it seems as if they could potentially write that for a pregnancy that was not confirmed. I don't know where she would get a fake mychart though, it looks as it it's a video, not a snapshot that could be photographed.
She was lying, but he was in on it for sure. He said he never went in the appointment, he didn't. If she miscarried there would be documentation since she went to the hospital.
He is insane and needs help, but so does she. Nothing she showed showed her miscarriage only she went to the dr.

Where there is smoke there is fire. I think we can all agree they are both liars. In reference to what the other poster posted from a nurse, I just searched the ICD 10 code for miscarriage and she’s absolutely correct. The terminology for coding isn’t “miscarriage”. Plus there are women who claim miscarriage when they never had a confirmed pregnancy 🤷🏾♀️.

Personally I’ve known quite a few women who have lied about their pregnancy and faked miscarriage documents. My cousin was asked by her friend to validate her lie because the bf didn’t believe her. She fabricated the pregnancy and showed everyone forged online fake my chart documents that have the wrong medical coding on them…

Even though this post is old, from 7 mos ago- I have to comment. I was pregnant at age 28, the father wanted nothing to do with me. Chris has some faults but I would have been thrilled if I was treated as well as Mercedes. She should be very ashamed of herself to treat both Chris & Paige so badly. Sometimes men don’t do the right thing but Chris seemed to really want to be a father.
