*Peter's hands glow bright with radiation, while Mohinder and a wounded Matt Parkman watch. Niki and D.L. sit with Micah and Molly. Claire runs over to Noah Bennet, who gives her his gun. Peter stands up to face Claire, glowing all over as she walks over, pointing her gun at Peter hesitantly* Peter: "Do it. Do it! You're the only one, Claire!" Claire: 😭 "Tell me there's another way, please!" Peter: "Shoot me! There is no other way." *Nathan Petrelli flies in* Nathan: "Yes, there is, Claire. The future isn't written in stone." Peter: "I took his power, Nathan. I can't control it. I can't do anything." Nathan: "I'm not leaving you, Peter. There's another way to end this, and you know it." Peter: "I can't let you die!" Nathan: "And I can't let everyone else. You saved the cheerleader... so we could save the world." Peter: "... I love you, Nathan." Nathan: "I love you too. ... You ready?" *Peter nods. Nathan walks over to Peter, grabbing hold of his brother, as he flies up and away above the city. All the Heroes watch on, before a nuclear explosion lights up the sky. Claire and Molly look away, distraught* Niki: "What happened to them?" *Sylar, who had been stabbed by Hiro, lies in a pool of his own blood*
"You saved the cheerleader so we could save the world" Damn. This hit harder than any other TV series ever did.
around 2:40 is when I really start getting hyped. When 2:47 hits, fuck yeah.
