    🏰 First Stop: The Majestic Ruins We start our journey with a visit to The Ruins, often referred to as the "Taj Mahal of Negros." This stunning heritage site is the remains of an old mansion built in the early 1900s by Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson. Nestled in Talisay City, just outside Bacolod, it’s a must-see with breathtaking architecture, lush gardens, and perfect photo spots. Watch as this iconic structure transforms beautifully at sunset!
    🏙️ Bacolod City Center: Lagoon and Lacson Street Next, we head to the bustling Bacolod City Center, where the Capitol Lagoon Park awaits with its tranquil atmosphere, beautiful sculptures, and koi-filled lagoon. Just a short walk away is Lacson Street, the heart of Bacolod’s downtown area. Lined with shops, restaurants, and vibrant local life, this street has a pulse that embodies Bacolod’s charm.
    🎉 Experience MassKara Festival: Day & Night Celebrations One of the highlights of our tour is experiencing the MassKara Festival, Bacolod’s most famous event! Held annually in October, this festival is a feast of color, culture, and contagious smiles. During the day, we’ll enjoy street performances, parades, and lively dance routines in elaborate costumes. As night falls, MassKara transforms into an electrifying street party with music, lights, and boundless energy-an experience like no other!
    🏨 Quick Stop at Citadines Bacolod For those looking for a comfortable stay, we’ll take you on a quick tour of Citadines Bacolod. This modern hotel is a great choice for travelers, combining luxury with convenience and offering impressive amenities to make your stay in Bacolod enjoyable.
    🍽️ Bacolod Food Crawl: Delicioso Restaurant & Bob’s Café Of course, a trip to Bacolod is not complete without indulging in its food scene! At Delicioso Restaurant, we’ll savor a mix of Mediterranean and local dishes, while Bob’s Café on North Street serves up classic Filipino comfort food and desserts that will make you feel right at home. Bacolod’s culinary offerings are as warm and delightful as the city itself!
    🏛️ A Glimpse of Silay Heritage District Our journey continues with a short trip to Silay City, a historical gem known for its preserved heritage houses. In the Silay Heritage District, we explore elegant ancestral homes, each with its own story, making it feel like stepping back in time. Hi andy another nice video. wow the MassKara Festival is so croweded. im amazed how filipinos celebrate festivals whether they participate in it or just observers. they go all out.. bacolod seems like a nice place. most foreignors like to live in dumaguete but i think bacolod is just as good. maybe better to live there cause less foreignor. there are too many foreigners living in duma now and some of them are giving it a bad name. thanks andy nice video again

      @Jas-Anand  3 місяці тому

      Hi Alvin - Dumaguete is very close to Bacolod both are in Negros Island. Dumeguete is the main city of Negros Oriental while Bacolod is the main city of Negros Occidental. I have not been to Duma but i heard its good. Not sure effect of foreigners but you are right that it has lot of retirees. Bacolod was relaxed and chilled out with good roads. Actually, there is another city near by called Iloilo which is also well known and lot of poets love Iloilo
