As it has given the problem of 6 years . Average of 6 years ,we are taking into two years . First three years average is 22 and subsequently rest of the years average is 30 . So we plottled the trend line of 20 and 30 .

In another sum in my book, there are 9 years (2002-2010) so the middle year(2006) is left out. But they have specified that 2003 and 2007 are the middle periods and I don't know why, can you please explain why ma'am
