This season did not disappoint at all. Great season. Can't wait for s3. Also, I heard All of Us are Dead season 2 is coming out sometime in the near future, so I am excited for that as well. It's been too long.
Nam-gyu might be the most despicable villain in the series so far. Spends the whole show picking on Min-su who's obviously weaker than him, only has 300 million in debt yet keeps voting to continue the games, and only went after women during Lights Out. Genuinely mad he outlived Thanos.
I believe that Player 125 represents a significant trope regarding bullying in Korea. His actions highlight how some individuals can become victims of bullying and subsequently submit to their circumstances. While it's understandable to feel anger towards him for allowing that girl to die, he is also a victim of his environment. As for Player 388, I wouldn't categorize him as a fraud, rather I see subtle hints suggesting he may be a deserter, which could stem from the PTSD he experiences from his time in the military. The pressure of living up to his father's legacy as a marine may have contributed to his current situation, and the question of why hes there, could be possible that he is grappling with significant debt from deserting the army or other challenges that are not explicitly addressed in the series. Despite being adults, they are still human beings capable of fear and vulnerability. In response to the question about the games being boring or lacking excitement, it’s essential to remember that they are based on traditional childhood games from Korea. The nature of these games is intentionally simple, as they are designed for players to be eliminated rather than to provide entertainment. Additionally, many of the games reflect the childhood experiences of characters like Il-nam, which may also resonate with individuals like the Front Man or other VIPs in the series. [And yes I did I watch up to the discussion, no hate or anything, glad you at least acknowledge it in some way, just wanted to add this to clear it up more, and to also answer your question on why the games are boring, they're only meant to be childhood Korean games that are mainly focused on having any players "eliminated"] but overall love the reaction as always, not exactly a bad ending to this season but a devastating one that's worse than season 1
I question that Kang Dae-Ho is a deserter. (After typing a bit of this out and then revisiting the episode, your point holds weight) still the way he was shamelessly showing off his tattoo makes me crease my eyebrows in doubt; and potentially more convincing is his use of the MP5. Training goes a very long way; I'm fairly confident in saying that even an idiot with training won't make moves like Dae-Ho because of the habbit's that are drilled into recruits.
@@flrethlef well for my point of view, this is based on what my father told me, there are many soldiers who still serve, that they will just use guns like that, too scared of getting killed when they see people by them just murdered by bulllets, and we don't know why he's there in the first place but most likely debt from deserting, but thanks for the input, would be surprised in next season if he wasn't all this, and yeah the tattoo seemed fishy too.
12:47 About the Marine guy, I’ve read that based on when he served, he would have been a witness to an incident in 2014 when a Marine opened fire on his fellow members, so he probably has a lot of PTSD from that
@@brokenamvs9707 someone with PTSD cannot think straight, they could forgot what has been trained into them. Even a soldier who still serve can shoot on random like Dae-ho due to terrified from rapid bullets when his friends falls down.
@brokenamvs9707 None of them did, that's why 120 had to explain. The Koreans are trained with an rifle called an K2. It has a completely different type of charging handle and mag release compared to an MP5. All Korean men are forced to serve in the army by law. People who do well in physical assessment can go to the marines. He seems like a fit guy, he probably was accepted into the marines, he just freaks out at gunshots. He knocked a pink soldier out in the brawl so he is not scared to fight hand to hand, just guns, which is common in military.
@@brokenamvs9707 Korea, like Israel, almost all men have to join the military. Even assuming he didn't go to the Marines, he should go to a different kind of army because he is fit. Refusing to serve in the army will send him to prison. Even the world-famous boy band, bts, had to go to the army. He's only supposed to have PTSD. Gun deaths, harshness and accidents sometimes happen in the military. If you want to know the dark reality of the Korean military, I recommend the Netflix drama
@@kenbocole1460 Marines aren't something you just get "accepted into" from military. It's a special unit of professionals with hard training regime and discipline. People have to sign up for that and be the best of the best to be hired. Meanwhile he didn't know anything. How guns work, how to fight, even how to properly salute, nothing. He most likely got a fake tattoo so he could lie to his abusive father to show him how manly he is and wasn't expecting to meet actual marines or see action. Dude's basically a call of duty player who suddenly sees war in real life.
When i saw the cliffhanger while watching it myself i just heard ange scream ‘SICKENING’ to it in my head 😂 (like with the dandadan cliffhanger). Jung-Bae’s death was pretty sad tho, he was my favorite character since the beginning of season 2. He will be missed
I think in the third one they will explain the reason why dae ho (388) is in the game, because he hasn't been mentioned in the series yet, and I hope he doesn't die, he's my favorite
People overseas saw this scene at 10:22 and said it was unrealistic, but it is possible because most Korean men are former soldiers. In particular, middle-aged men have a very high fighting ability because they had a harder and stronger military life.
I think when it comes to Min-su, it’s sad and disappointing but I don’t know if I can bring myself to be mad at him. Like even if some of us would’ve jumped in, I think it’s just natural that not all of us would (“flight” over “fight” as their natural response), and so even if he messed up during the Mingle game, I just feel pity/bad for how scared/regretful he must’ve felt. Nam-gyu’s the real monster here‼️
Jung-bae’s actor, Seo-hwan mentioned in one of the Netflix videos reacting to this scene that the last thing that Jung-bae wanted to say was something along the lines of “I’m sorry I couldn’t do more to protect you.” Hearing that broke me 😭💔
Been waiting for this for WEEKS, thank you so much for dragging these reaction episodes out because i rushed the season in a day, literally the best reactions channel much love❤
I just think that after this defeat, they'll humiliate gi-hun in front of all participants. After the failed rebellion, I don't think anyone would trust or even want to be near him. They would only keep him alive to see him suffer in the next games.
He isn’t any different to the front man, they both make sacrifices for the greater good… they have opposite ideologies but their actions show they ain’t that different
@@yue_river he was willing to let people die for what he believed in the front man was willing to let people Die for what he believed in… they just believed in opposite things…. Not that different really
Episode one you could smell the fish coming off the fisherman. Finding Jun ho in the middle of the ocean is possible, but soo unlikely. More likely, but still unlikely, is the fisherman's eagerness to help our boy. When he sat down to eat with Choi Woo-seok I almost believed him, despite the continued stench, I wanted to believe in him.
But not all types of guns do they know how to handle. The MP5 is not even regularly used in the South Korean military, only by elite units like the ROKSF.
When Daeho served in the Korean Marine Corps In the Marine Corps jockey, there's a real shooting A lot of soldiers have been killed in a terrible way There was an accident that was lost It was the biggest disaster in the history of the Korean Marine Corps Many people remember the shooting. Maybe the director's intention is that the accident still Maybe he was trying to show the discharged Marines of those days with PTSD. Only Koreans can notice this problem.
@@honeybadger6916the theory is that the girl who saw him with his daughter(soldier 11) was the one who shot him so he would be taken to the organ area n once she sees him in there she’ll kill the soldiers, we already saw she hates the organ stuff
The last scene looked like railroad signals. Maybe they will make Gi Hun go through some kind of the trolley problem experiment. If not, I still think it will be something railroad/crossing based.
As this season had a motif of chances and luck with the Rock Paper Scissors, and Russian Roulette and 001 saying to Gi Hun about sacrificing people and stuff, maybe in next season Gi Hun would be put in such a position by Frontman that he will have to choose who will get to live and die as a sadistic game. A trolley problem like someone in the comments said.
Hello guys, I binge watch your reactions to anime and kdramas a lot, thank you very much for your efforts to build this channel. I just wanted you guys to know that there was a "real life squid game" that was maybe the inspiration for the director of the series. It is explained in great details in a channel called "rotten mango", where the storyteller "Stephanie Soo" reached out to the survivors to tell the story. *Side note: viewer discretion is advised as there are mentions of some cruel acts of violence.
I already sus with the fisherman captain since the first time he appeared, and my suspicion is right. Because it's too coincidence that he was around to safe Jun-ho, near an island that very well guarded. I believe the island for Squid Game is very well guarded, and no one can go near it without permission. Min-su is a victim of bullying his whole life, I believe. That's why he react the way he is, scared stiffed instead of helping others. In case of Dae-ho, as people said that he must have PTSD from the past when he was in military camp. In real, his Marine class, is notorious in South Korea for a shoot out incident where the senior shooting at the young cadets and also the hazing that happened. I think the writer used that for Dae-ho's backstory. He must have experienced severe physical abuse as well because he kept apologizing and flinched protecting his body when 120 approached him to get the ammo, that is a trauma respond. He must have thought that she wants to beat him for failing his task. As for Thanos, the actor (Choi Seunghyun a.k.a TOP) is a rapper in real. He was a member of a legendary K-pop boyband called BIGBANG. He can rap so fast, check his song titled Doom Dada. Also the character Thanos is more or less close to home for the actor. 24:48 is the next game in S3. The next level of Red Light Green Light. Yeon-hee got a friend called Cheol-su, no one can cheat this time 😈
He had PTSD, that why he was acting like that😅 They used different Guns in the Marine too in Korea, and Player 120 was in a special Force where they used that kinds of Weapons😅 So it was not Dae-hoes fault that he didn't knew the guns they used.😊
In that monent when Gyu was planning the strategy for the attack, the Front Man went sad because he was right about the human nature. That really struck home for him, because he is not all evil and that good part of him was sad in that moment.
How come the circles didn’t go for the X’s when everyone was fighting the guards , the strongest X’s are out fighting so that would be the best time to get them
Spoilers..... It makes sense now why 001 befriends 390 jung-bae. And picked him on the mingle game. This was the gut punch moment he wanted to inflict onto Gihun.
I was all broken up by the result of Player 125 cowardice. I'm not saying he hasn't been victim to pain and opression, but who hasn't. Isn't pain, dealt out by the world and those in it, how people justify doing terrible things. Player 125 is no villain but he made his choice more than once. I'm angry and sad; while at the moment I feel no sympathy for him, I got my fingers crossed he will be written to make good and bold moves and escape the games alive in s3.
I personally can’t bring myself to be mad at Min-su. What he did during the Mingle game sort of muddies the water at bit, but his subsequent decision to vote No and the fact that he even tried throwing the bottle at all both required bravery on his part. I just think it’s important to understand that even though SOME of us may have helped, it’s only natural that not all of us would. Some of us are just naturally more prone to flight over fight, especially when it comes to someone he honestly hadn’t known for too long. The way he turns away in fear and looks remorsefully down at her body makes me feel only pity/bad for how regretful, scared, and frustrated he may have felt
I think his reaction was quite realistic. An overwhelming majority of people would choose to hide or run in a life or death situation. People who watch a lot of shows think they can be like movie characters and do heroic stuff, but when reality hits and you are looking at a person with a weapon charging at you with the intent of killing you, you would most likely flee. The truth is that most of us are not heroes in the face of death, and probably never will be, so it's unrealistic to expect that from other "normal" characters in a show.
I belive that player 456 will be the next Frontman and 001 was all freind to him to make 456 see that this games are a thing, and make him see like he sees, probably 001 was a player too that winned the games and did the same as 456, the credits scene, it will be the first game organised by 456 as the new frontman!
Did anyone else pick up on the fact The Frontman/001 doesn't drink milk? He's always seen drinking whiskey. Oh Il-Nam (001) from season 1 said his son didn't drink milk... Father & son running the operation maybe?
The next season was leaked to be released June, 27th. I do think the games last year were more intense. Partly because we didn't know anything about the universe of what could happen and now we have expectations to live up to but also the last season killed off people it had built up, but this season other than this episode, everyone who got screen time survived every round. The first season the games were also super stressful or emotional. 1st game not knowing what would happen, 2nd game Gi-hun getting the hardest shape to cut out, Tug of War was a bit meh, then the emotional marbles game was a killer... this season has a similar pattern. 1st game wasn't as bad since we knew what was happening, the 2nd game had no real consequence for the audience as there was no way they were killing off the Front Man game 2 which is why I think they "hammed it up" with the music, the Mingle game I think was supposed to be the stressful one where you didn't know who/if people would survive, then the night fight/gun attack I think was supposed to be the "emotional game" with a few named characters dying but like you said, it was sad but not really that powerful/emotional. Season 1 is better as of now but Season 2 could still end with a bang. I know they have something emotional planned around the nice old lady, her son and the pregnant woman.
I don't think Dae-ho is lying about being in the Marines since in Korea, all able-bodied men need to serve time in the military. I think he just has lots of PTSD
The frontman is a classic example of double standards trying to "justify" his actions somehow, for continuing this game being the 2015 game winner. IDK it's very confusing to understand his stance here this season. IT SEEMS he is trying to "prove" something to Gi-Hun in a VERY WRONG WAY obviously. He has to be our ultimate villain after all. I AM JUST WAITING to see Jun-ho do some action and catch the boat captain's tricks of luring the team away from the island where the game is happening in season 3. let's see what the writers have for us.
he wanted to se if gi-hun was the saint he talked about. When Gi-hun changed and said he would sacrifice some for the greater good he became exacly as the frontman
I'm anew subscribers in patreon and i really love your reaction . I was wondering why in full reactions squid game . I can only see subtitle only . I mean , how i watch your reactions to video, if i can't see the video ? Hope get an answer. Thank you
Its to use as a guide to sync up your own copy of the show with us! It’s for copyright reasons. We have to do this for some shows because of the copyright laws in our country.
I liked the reaction, the only thing I don’t agree with is saying the games this season lacked “creativity” since all are traditional Korean games, not created by the show’s director.
My question remains, why is 456 saved even though he wasn't back in the room? Their rules mean convienently nothing if necessary and that makes the whole game a scam.
Again, there's a simple rule of thumb I think reactors should follow when it comes to thumbnail images or titles. In this specific case, if you as a first-time viewer didn't know this episode would end in a cliffhanger, you really shouldn't ADVERTISE this information in your video title.
9:24 this was me when Semi (Player 380) died. I was mad af. I don't really blame the wimpy guy though....like he's obviously weak af. Most people in real life scenarios would also just book it. People watch too many shows and think they can also be hot shots, but that is clearly not the case. His reaction is realistic. Also, just a FYI: most Korean men do know how to handle guns, but they use a different weapon called the K-2 rifle. They are different from the MP5s shown in this episode. Hyunju probably knew how to use them because she was part of spec ops and spec ops have a wider range of weapons they are trained with, which is why she had to explain how to use it.
18:31 idk if you're referring to the Marine guy, Dae Ho, but i'll be assuming it's him. lol. I'll tell you, he really IS a good actor. I suggest watching his movie Forgotten (idk if it's still on Netflix but that's where I watched it). He was insane in that. He has range too. "When The Camellia Blooms" is also his drama where he won a best actor award in and he was very lovely in that. My ultimate fave series where he's in is "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" where he is one of the princes, it's a historical drama and it's my ultimate favorite kdrama EVER. I could go on and on about him. He's one of the main reasons why I was so excited for this season of Squid Game, along with the actor of Thanos. I have so much love for them both :)
Really enjoyed your reactions on this season, can't wait for season 3. Can i maybe also recommend you guys Alice in Borderland really been wanting to see you guys react to it.
To me making the ‘small sacrifice’ shows the gi hun isn’t any better than the front man himself they have different ideologies but in the end both sacrifice people for the greater good in their eyes
@@wilonaanastasia The point is that Gi hun gave up on the ideal of trying to get everyone out alive. Gi hun decided to sacrifice people who could have survived and voted to go home for the "greater good". To decide the people that could have survived now have to die in order for the plan to work conflicts with the idea of saving everyone. It proves the Gi hun is a pragmatist, not the idealists that he claimed to be.
Jumping down would've been a suicide move. Min-su did the most rational thing. Furthermore, his distraction DID work. The only reason Nam-gyu killed her is because two player's fighting collpased into her as she was about to stab him
I dont think Dae-ho is a liar with a fake marine tattoo. I believe he was a real marine who probably watched his squad die, being one of the few survivors and that gave him PTSD. Considering the tidbits we got about his home life, i think he had a lot of pressure on him growing up to be a "real man" so to speak and outshine or be just like his dad. Im guessing his dad was a really masculine man that his family looked up to. That want to be a man like his father is what made him become a marine and learn the hard way the things that come with being a soldier. Its possible he also abandoned his position as a marine or was let go due to being unfit as a soldier. Him leaving the marines with PTSD was possibly what led him into his debts which then led him to Squid Game. The vast majority of this is speculation. This is just my theory on the direction Dae-ho's character will take. The only thing im 100% confident on is that he has PTSD. It didn't seem like just basic fear to me.
he didnt know how to load a gun tho. i think maybe his mind subconsciously made him forget everything out of past fear or he wasnt ever in the marines. what i think though is he was in the marines but wasnt in a fighting soldier position at all.
About Dae Ho, the Marine guy, initially I immediately thought PTSD (I’m a physician, not a psychiatrist but I’ve studied the subject before in med school). But then since watching a lot of reactions to the show, i’ve also read different comments so i’m down to three theories. 1) He really served in the Marines and got PTSD because (i’ve read this somewhere) during the time of his service, there was an irl shooting incident in Korea during the time that he served. Knetz put two and two together because of his class number and the date of the shooting incident. 2) He really didn’t serve in the Marines OR he did, but maybe went AWOL then had a fake tattoo just so he can show his father (who forced him to serve, he mentioned it during the 6-legged race game) that he did. 3) It could be a mix of both theories because the way he flinched when 120 reached for the ammos, it was definitely a PTSD from something. Maybe his father used to hurt him because he wasn’t man enough (idk, just based off of the gonggi game again) hence forced him to serve in the marines? I really don’t know. I can’t wait to know more of his story in season 3. I’ve really liked the actor for Dae Ho (player 388) for such a long time now and he’s one of the reasons why I was anticipating this season. I’m sad a lot of people got mad at him for abandoning the others because I was just sad for him tbh. And i’m glad his “cowardice” forced Hyun Ju (player 120) to get back to the quarters, hopefully saving her life.
I think it’s a little unfair to be comparing season 2 with season 1 They’re completely different, vibes, goals, characters, setting of the show and the story and plot, everything is different. Season 1 is made the way it was made to set up the true baseline of what the games are about, what the shows entire plot is around, it is the foundation and building blocks, it has quote on quote “better games” in season 1 because season 1 of course focuses more on the aspect of survival and the bonds made throughout whereas season 2 now has an entire mystery and story to delve into and solve and build up for the eventual finale. Season 1 didn’t have any true mystery solving plot lines going on as all we were given throughout the first season was heavily focused on the players of the games points of view. Only very small bits of screen time given to the whole infiltration - half brothers plot line.
Season 1 was the games, the survival, the contestants, the fight between fighting for their lives in there at a chance for a life outside of there or to simply leave and continue living in what would eventually simply be their deaths either-way. Season 2 is definitely a build up season, i mean it even has 2 less episodes than season 1, that’s an entire 2 hours worth of stuff. And i really have to disagree with the sets of the games, the six-legged pentathlon, aka season 2’s second game’s set is definitely much better than season 1’s second game set which was simply just a small play park in a sandpit. Mingle also was a very great set with an extremely compelling, competitive and horrific nature which was extremely in vain with the show and either way i still don’t see the point of comparing, why not enjoy them all for each separate things that they are though? Hell, i’d say mingle was more in vain with the squid games vibe and feel than games like tug of war in season 1, but still, they are both i think incredible, truly. I think, with season 3, season 2 can definitely shine a lot more for some people, it’s a shame so many people feel kinda iffy or let down by these things, it was never going to be just season 1 but again, and i am not sure why many people expected that.
I love season 2 more because I saw more frontman, only because of this. But actually these two seasons are equal for me, if I neglect the frontman's character
Bro, they said he was forced into the army and never wanted to go there. There are already strong men who wanted to join the army who are broken by PTSD. What happens to someone who isn't cut out for it and then gets flashbacks from being shot? So that was really an L reaction from u Ange
Yeahhh 125 is unredeemable. The circumstances have given him multiple chances to rise and change and fight back against his bullies, and he’d rather cower and let people die. You can’t excuse people forever
I too was disappointed with what Min-su did, but I can’t bring myself to feel angry. What he did during the Mingle game should never be forgotten, but to say he never fought back is a lie. He chose to vote No when Thanos and Nam-gyu tried to pressure him into voting Yes, and the fact that he even revealed himself at all by choosing to throw the bottle took courage on his part. I also think what he did was honestly just realistically. Some of us would’ve jumped in, but definitely not all of us. Even if you believe you would, it’s just the reality that some people would be wired to choose “flight” over “fight” in that sort of situation (especially since he only new Se-mi for 2-3 days). I was saddened by Se-mi’s death, but I can only feel bad for Min-su and the regret/frustration he must’ve felt. NAM-GYU IS THE REAL VILLAIN HERE ‼️‼️
I think Bak Gyeong-seok Player 246 is going to come back in Season 3. You can see that Kang No-eul Number 11's gun pointing down cause Kang No-eul Number 11 is going to revive him after the shot, maybe like put him as a Number Pink Guard, That's my prediction. 23:08
That's the moment Gi-hun lost it. The Games got to him. The Gi-hun from Season 1 would never have sacrificed all those people. He looks more like the leader now. The leader knows this too. Look at his face when he said "sacrifice yourself for the greater good." It seems like he meant "I was so hoping you'd show me that you're different and that I made a mistake in the past, but you're just like me."
I agree with how you said the frontman is trying to turn gi-hun into a villain. he kept his best friend alive so desperately just to kill him at the end. he could've so easily stopped gi-huns "hero game" at any point if he wanted. he had so many other soldiers and everything, he just chose not to, so he could play with him and end it at the final. kind of like to knock some nihilism into gi-hun. I also feel like the frontman probably had a very similar backstory to gi-hun, as a previous winner too, probably going back to the games only to find that everyone wanted to keep playing, and gained a nihilistic view himself. also with him going to the games to save his wife only to win and come back to them dead, very similar to gi-huns mother. we dont fully know the frontmans motives yet which will definitely be shown in season 3 obviously, but for now i think he really is trying to change gi-hun. he already saw progress in his plan when gi-hun said "sacrifices were necessary." also one thing to add, when the frontman spoke up as 001 during the voting in that one episode, he was probably actually speaking what he truly felt, feeling truly frustrated with the people, being stupid to continue the games, but he already knew the outcome, so in that way it was like he was mocking them and gi-huns efforts, especially when he gave gi-hun that smirk from a distance after the fight broke off.
Tokyo Ghoul is a very heavy copyrighted material, to upload a full season on youtube will be very hard and prone to getting a strike. They already got a strike once afaik, and will not risk it (They already announced this in the community post a while ago)
Maybe a spoiler for the next game. I think I played the next train game. There are two gates and players roll through the gates while a song is playing. Player in between the gate at the end of the song is it.
I enjoyed seeing you guys again for season 2. I wish I got to see more of you; it's my fault, because I can't yet appreciate animated shows enough. Still, despite not wanting to deprive your more regular viewers of their C&A, I will be a little voice out here for more live-action! ++ In the unlikely event my little wish tips any scales, and I was allowed to select a show, it'd be one of these, depending on others' recommendations: The Expanse, Firefly, or The Haunting of Hill House ++
I recently watched Squid Game The Challenge and I thought it was pretty entertaining. Have you guys watched it? If not, would you consider reacting to it?
SICKENING cliffhanger.

What's funny is he said last episode how it was Nam-gyu who he hated the most, not Thanos. He saw the real villain before anyone else did.
I liked his character as well, looked up to Thanos who couldn’t even remember his name and kept putting him in his place.

I question that Kang Dae-Ho is a deserter. 12:47 About the Marine guy, I’ve read that based on when he served, he would have been a witness to an incident in 2014 when a Marine opened fire on his fellow members, so he probably has a lot of PTSD from that
he didn't even have knowledge about guns which even a marine with PTSD should have
@@brokenamvs9707 someone with PTSD cannot think straight, they could forgot what has been trained into them.
Same, Jung Bae is the GOAT I like him a lot
I think in the third one they will explain the reason why dae ho (388) is in the game, because he hasn't been mentioned in the series yet, and I hope he doesn't die, he's my favorite
yeah he's very likeable

Jung-bae’s actor, Seo-hwan mentioned in one of the Netflix videos reacting to this scene that the last thing that Jung-bae wanted to say was something along the lines of “I’m sorry I couldn’t do more to protect you.” Hearing that broke me 😭💔
Ohh that makes Jung Bae's death even sadder
Now why you gotta make me cry 😢

Been waiting for this for WEEKS, thank you so much for dragging these reaction episodes out because i rushed the season in a day, literally the best reactions channel much love❤
Same lol I finished it in less than a day
I hope gi hun and dae ho goes wild next season because of jung baes death
I just hope Jun Hee stays safe.
@@jackhowes8530 yes he is tf

Episode one you could smell the fish coming off the fisherman. Finding Jun ho in the middle of the ocean is possible, but soo unlikely. More likely, but still unlikely, is the fisherman's eagerness to help our boy.
When he sat down to eat with Choi Woo-seok I almost believed him, despite the continued stench, I wanted to believe in him.
Actually most Korean men know how to use guns since militery service is mandatory 😊
But not all types of guns do they know how to handle. The MP5 is not even regularly used in the South Korean military, only by elite units like the ROKSF.

Yas! Here it is I'm gonna binge now your reactions. I'll be back LOL
When Daeho served in the Korean Marine Corps
In the Marine Corps jockey, there's a real shooting
A lot of soldiers have been killed in a terrible way
There was an accident that was lost
It was the biggest disaster in the history of the Korean Marine Corps
Many people remember the shooting.
Maybe the director's intention is that the accident still
Maybe he was trying to show the discharged Marines of those days with PTSD.
Only Koreans can notice this problem.
23:10 I'm pretty sure the shot is non-lethal and player 246 is still alive (I see it was discussed in the review)
And how that helps him? You all dont remember what happens to people that dont die on spot?
@@honeybadger6916the theory is that the girl who saw him with his daughter(soldier 11) was the one who shot him so he would be taken to the organ area n once she sees him in there she’ll kill the soldiers, we already saw she hates the organ stuff
That 4:04 AOT reference of reiner took me out😂
The last scene looked like railroad signals. Maybe they will make Gi Hun go through some kind of the trolley problem experiment. If not, I still think it will be something railroad/crossing based.
That's gonna destroy him fs
I just realized at the end where is the guitar cover for squid games Ange?!
Dae-ho was in the marines he has PTSD
Yeon-hee got a friend called Cheol-su, no one can cheat this time 😈
He had PTSD, that why he was acting like that😅 They used different Guns in the Marine too in Korea, and Player 120 was in a special Force where they used that kinds of Weapons😅 So it was not Dae-hoes fault that he didn't knew the guns they used.😊
I finished this show yesterday by myself while being sick. Gory as hell. No wonder my parents didnt let me watch it when i was younger😅
i think dae ho was a marine but suffers from ptsd
happy new year and i hope you start watching black clover any time soon ❤
In that monent when Gyu was planning the strategy for the attack, the Front Man went sad because he was right about the human nature. That really struck home for him, because he is not all evil and that good part of him was sad in that moment.

It makes sense now why 001 befriends 390 jung-bae. And picked him on the mingle game. This was the gut punch moment he wanted to inflict onto Gihun.
Alice in Borderland next please 🙏
@@jimmyha1898 most men would absolutely risk their lives for a pretty girl
I belive that player 456 will be the next Frontman and 001 was all freind to him to make 456 see that this games are a thing, and make him see like he sees, probably 001 was a player too that winned the games and did the same as 456, the credits scene, it will be the first game organised by 456 as the new frontman!

Guys please react to alice in borderland. Its like more intense squid game
I believe Squid Game Season 3 is coming out in June 2025
Same

idk why but im sure 288 has ptsd, i think he was forced in the marine by his dad
Hi Carlie and Ange can i request both of you to watch Alice in Borderland? 🫶
Namgyu: They killed some of us including my friend...
Namgyu, I see you
I don't think Dae-ho is lying about being in the Marines since in Korea, all able-bodied men need to serve time in the military. I think he just has lots of PTSD
At least Jung-be won't know who shot him
The frontman is a classic example of double standards trying to "justify" his actions somehow, for continuing this game being the 2015 game winner.
When Gi-hun changed and said he would sacrifice some for the greater good he became exacly as the frontman
hey guys, will ya'll be reacting to the blue lock nagi movie? epic reaction as always
Will ya react on sakamoto days😊

You guys should watch alice borderlands the second season is WAY better and the games are actually interesting

To me making the ‘small sacrifice’ shows the gi hun isn’t any better than the front man himself they have different ideologies but in the end both sacrifice people for the greater good in their eyes
They have similar actions with different point of views… gihun sacrificed his team meanwhile frontman sacrificed his workers/guards

When will u watch db daima
Thanos T.O.P
I know this is random but will you react to the latest Wicked movie? 😅 dont know if you guys like that type but hey, might as well ask😂

PLEASE WATCH „ALICE IN BORDERLAND“ AFTER SQUID GAME!! Its a MUST watch and quite similar to squid game (way better imo)
the first three of alice kinda boring imo
It’s similar but totally not better lmao.
I loved season two they definitely should!
they def spent too much time on votings this season

I think it’s a little unfair to be comparing season 2 with season 1
They’re completely different, vibes, goals, characters, setting of the show and the story and plot, everything is different.
But actually these two seasons are equal for me, if I neglect the frontman's character
now plz consider shows like Alice in Borderland
i'm sure that show will blow your mind and you'll love it
Bro, they said he was forced into the army and never wanted to go there. There are already strong men who wanted to join the army who are broken by PTSD. What happens to someone who isn't cut out for it and then gets flashbacks from being shot? So that was really an L reaction from u Ange
For what? He said he feels sorry for him, he just doesn't think he should have put other's lives in his hands
NAM-GYU IS THE REAL VILLAIN HERE ‼️‼️
I think Thanos is still alive.
👍👍
It’s the characters that have set this season apart from the first. So much complexity / variety
You can be an-ex marine and have ptsd.
I believe that the very end of the episode is suppose to signify that Season 3 was Green Lit and coming soon
I see it that way too, but I'm also curious to know what game was shown
I agree with how you said the frontman is trying to turn gi-hun into a villain. he kept his best friend alive so desperately just to kill him at the end. he could've so easily stopped gi-huns "hero game" at any point if he wanted. he had so many other soldiers and everything, he just chose not to, so he could play with him and end it at the final. kind of like to knock some nihilism into gi-hun. I also feel like the frontman probably had a very similar backstory to gi-hun, as a previous winner too, probably going back to the games only to find that everyone wanted to keep playing, and gained a nihilistic view himself. also with him going to the games to save his wife only to win and come back to them dead, very similar to gi-huns mother. we dont fully know the frontmans motives yet which will definitely be shown in season 3 obviously, but for now i think he really is trying to change gi-hun. he already saw progress in his plan when gi-hun said "sacrifices were necessary." also one thing to add, when the frontman spoke up as 001 during the voting in that one episode, he was probably actually speaking what he truly felt, feeling truly frustrated with the people, being stupid to continue the games, but he already knew the outcome, so in that way it was like he was mocking them and gi-huns efforts, especially when he gave gi-hun that smirk from a distance after the fight broke off.
one episode,ONE EPISODE!!!! of Tokyo Ghoul and you guys are gone...........
I know it's a joke, but Squid Game's budget would be far from tight. It's Netflix's golden boy.
