I remember seeing the debut of Becky, and being the stereotypical Irish American (great grandparents came over in the 1880s) I was proud to finally have a lass portraying the (yes, stereotypical) Irishman. Luckily she didn't get saddled with a little person like Fit Finley had before. Anyway, I seen her doing the jig, and I would be lying if I said I seen her being this great, especially in the Vince WWE era. But, I seen a glimmer of the "it" factor, that you have to have in order to climb the card. You've done s fantastic job Becky, I hope you're enjoying your time off
When Rhea had to lay down her title because of her injury, and Becky became the Women's World Champion, I saw people calling her "Becky Hogan". I can't imagine why, I mean she put so many people over (which is the opposite of what Hogan did). She went to NXT, got eyes on Tiffany Stratton, put Lyra Valkyria over, put Rhea over, put Liv over, and that's just within the last year (when I started actually following wrestling). Hell, Becky Lynch wrestled the Wrestlemania 40 night 1 opening match in sub 40° weather, with a 102° fever and strep throat, just to put Rhea over.
She's pretty hard on herself in her book, the river dance being no exception but it wasn't that bad. My initial reaction at the time was yep, she's new BUT enthusiastic. Give her a shot. I did, we all did and with the help of an iconic moment with that broken nose she's found her place among the immortals. Hell of a run she's made for herself. One of the all time greats for sure.

As bad as the shock, Master? I don’t know about that one. Who was in charge of the NXT when Becki Lynch debut? Was it Vince or Trip H I can’t remember? Because Vince always gave out hokey gimmicks to people, especially people of non-American descent like if you’re from Ireland you’re going to be a dancing lass. I think she’s done pretty well for herself, considering that debut she’s the one they can always count on. They have great matches with everybody and that’s something to be proud of.
