Eloises character beautifully portrayed by Claudia so reminds me of my own dreams and aspirations to be a different kind of a woman growing up in a middle class family in India and not settling for an arranged marriage and a teaching job. I want to give her a warm hug 🤗 her character makes me look back at my crazy dreams and many of them came true actually ! ( my aspirations took me around the world and gave me an adventurous life ). Thanks for an amazing mirror in her character! Claudia Jessie well done 👍 and to all the ladies out there who should dare to dream 🤔

I was home sick and Netflix recommended Bridgerton. I told myself I would give it 1 episode. Moments later when Eloise screamed "DAPHNE....YOU MUST MAKE HASTE!!!" I was hooked. Binged all eight episodes and am dying for more. Eloise is delightfully fierce and my absolute favorite.
She's also older than Colin's actor. So if we're going by actors, the birth order is: Anthony, Benedict, Eloise, Colin, Daphne, Francesca 2 (only one month younger than Daphne IRL; for those who don't know they've just recast her actress), Francesca 1, then can't remember who's older out of Gregory and Hyacinth (both are the same age).
The only thing I didn’t really like about Eloise at the beginning is that she always judged her sister’s wants. Daphne wanted different things, love and children. But Eloise hardly ever supports her sister instead made her seem like the villain to her feminist cause. But at the end Eloise went to Daphne’s ball and Daphne in turn let her do what she wanted.
Same. She degraded other women for wanting to get married and actually survive in the world. I’m just happy that she thanked Daphne. I like her but she seemed like a “not like the other girls”

She started understanding Daphne a bit more by the end of the season, when she was still the same age. If she had begun to mature after a few years then sure I would say that it’s because of teenage angst.
