Aljamain sterling clinch/wrestling isn't very good, he's got great BJJ but yeah.. Merabs wrestling / clinch / cage pressing ability is insane. So people talk about Sean handling Aljamain wrestling but Merab is FAR better there.

Whether it's the first entry from Merab or the 50th, Sean will catch him. He DOES NOT have what it takes to beat O' Malley ( stylistically ) once again we will TALK when Suga has made him look like a slow, drunk amateur, swimming in a pool of Molasses !!!!
He beat a 5' 3 " , 37 year old Cejudo. O' Malley is NEAR his prime but, not even there yet !!! 5' 11" , WAY FASTER, way better takedown defense ( think about that ) a NON WRESTLER has displayed the BEST takedown defense against Aljamain Sterling - Ya'll can keep SLEEPING cause that's all O' Malley is gonna do in his career, is CONTINUE to SLEEP people.. If O were the BEST WRESTLER on the planet, I wouldn't wanna get near the STRIKING PHENOM that is Sean O' Malley !!!!
@@theduhscripshunn5476Aljo is a volume shooter, he shot maybe 1 takedown against O’Malley and attempted a 2nd when he slipped. Aljo’s fighting style shoots double digit takedowns but wins the round once he lands one
But I think Merab will have some issues striking with O’Malley. Aljo actually has underrated kicks, and his kicks are a big reason why he beat Yan the 2nd time, Cejudo, and scored the first round off of O’Malley, his issue was getting into boxing range which is where it went south. Idk if Merab’s kicking game is as good as Aljo’s to slow O’Malley down
