Your voice is like a subwoofer
my z333 goes crazy because of his voice
First thing i thought
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
To make things easier for your viewers, you could set this up in Equalizer APO and export settings so your viewers only need to copy it over. Thanks!
you have a copy for me? XD
Just did that with my old Z333, I usually only EQ my headphones and never thought to do this for some reason. It really did breathe new life into them.
I’m glad it worked out well!
I’m still perplexed why they weren’t tuned like that from the factory, the drivers are certainly capable enough.
Nice tips bro, i have z333, set the low freq as yours and that is a big difference :D. i use windows 8.1 and Peace EQ
Andika Tedja That’s great! I’m really happy this video helped you discover hidden potential in your speakers :D
Using a equalizer in this speaker, improves the high sounds?
How did you do it on peace? I see frequencies like 10, 21 and 42. Should I change them to the ones in the video?
@@NordicFireDKK You can click the "Set 4" button on the top right side, under the peace logo, and its automatically change to 20 25 32 and so on like on the video. If you want to sound as the same on the video, you can change them same as the video, i think its the best number to play with.
That's some good music glad you put it in the description 👍👍 it perfect when im messing around with my EQ settings
I’m glad you like it. Btw, I’ve released a bit of music myself, I’d appreciate if you could check it out: it’s “Atoms of stardust”, on Spotify, Apple Music, and other music platforms :)
Very good review FrytechTV..this is the kind of review I'm looking for..thank you very much..
Thank you!
Im getting the z333 at first I was worried about how they will sound but after I put on my headphones I knew that they would be good. The fact that you tuned the sound for headphones so it can be as accurate as possible is great and I will make sure to tune them like you did.
keep up the great work and content.
did you buy it?
@@extrabass287 yes I bought them.
@VeryNice Thank you for kind words! It means a lot, and I really appreciate it!
I'm actually listening to this video on a Z337 XD
Edward Chamourian Hey, that’s cool :)
im listening on z333's
The Supreme Gore Very nice! 👍🏻
Same here XD
Thanks for sharing this settings!
In addition to improve bass, setting 500hz to +3 and 8k to +2 yieled better listening experience for me!
That was actually a decent improvement, i thought it would sound muddy like most speakers do when you add bass, so you end up losing clarity.
Its 2.1, not full range. You wont lose clarity because, its different speakers.
I did the same but without proper frequency bands measurement. But I covered most of the frequency from highs to low trying to calibrate it near flat. However, I used a software called Boom3d to achieve my EQ calibration
Thank you so much for this!
rtwonmac Thank you very much for watching it! Glad it was useful!
Great video but sincerely, I was expecting a real test using real based instruments music including an equalizer. I have been looking for a video with those specific features and thought that after days, I finally found.
omg its work 🔥
I mean, this applies to any other type of speakers. Essentially you just introduced us to equalizers. Haha. Still, nice video! :)
Well, kinda yes and no :) Because, although it's definitely just a standard equalizer, often you might not get too much extra out of speakers, just 'cause they aren't that good to begin with and there's not a lot of room for improvement. While in this case the difference is night and day, hence why I was kinda shocked/impressed, and decided to share my findings.
@@Frytech Fair enough. I guess you are right. Anyway, thank you for your video since I was contemplating whether to buy those for my nephew or a more expensive and more powerful system. Glad I didn't cheap out! Haha
I don't know if this is placebo or not, but I switched the R and L outputs so blue goes to black and etc and I feel like it sounds way better and deeper 🤷♂️🤷♂️
i also do this with my z333's using virtual dj
MRBLOXY Big difference, right?
FrytechTV yes!
Hi, Did you download an EQ and played with the settings? What EQ did you use?
Max treble and max bass will sound like eq on.
subwoofers should be placed on the floor to get a good bass frequence
My table is made from wood/concrete. Rock solid. I have it on my table
could i set up 2 of the bass sections ?
song list please? awesome tunes. good review.
FNU LNU, Thank you!
The music comes from UA-cam library, so you can download it for free, all you need to do is go to your UA-cam account - Creator studio - Create - Audio library, and then search track names:
2:58 - Otis McDonald - Church of 8 Wheels
3:38 - Gunnar Olsen - Pisco Sour
5:07 - Gunnar Olsen - Tremsz
Anyone knows what is crossover frequency between sub and satelites in Z333? 150 Hz?
I can’t find an equalizer on windows??
is 337 better?im totally newb
thanks
Where can this software be downloaded? Do you have a link?
I think this is only for MAC, is there a PC version or PC app I can use for the same features?
Donald's Video Productions, yeah it’s Mac app AU labs and Soundflower, both are free.
For Windows, it’s seems like Peace equalizer GUI and Equalizer APO will do the same job
Donald's Video Productions you can use VoiceMeeter Banana
My Dell Audio driver has 10-band and I'd like to balance my Z313's bass without a complicated setup, is there a way to copy this 31-band EQ?
i see the between z300series z333 is highst watts i think thats louder and more improvable
Very strange idea to *not* play the speakers that are the subject of the test.
Ross Kelly To accurately represent what you would actually hear if you stood right there in the room it’s not enough to simply put a regular microphone there, as it won’t correctly represent the sound, and will be pretty useless, hence no such test.
If you compare how well you can actually hear what the speakers sounds like, try to watch a test of a certain speaker done by Clavinetjunkie using binaural microphones, and then find a test of the same system but without use of binaural mic - the difference will be night and day.
Since I don’t have binaural microphone I’ve decided to do the best I could given the circumstances and in fact if you listen to this test using stock Apple EarPods, and then later will add the EQ to your system you gonna find out that the representation I’ve made here will in fact very accurately translate to real life.
How far should the bass dial on the woofer be turned ? And what EQ do you downloaded ?
Neutral mid position, or whichever you’ll feel like sounds good to your ears.
is it okay if i turn the bass knob to the max on z333?
Could you name the songs from the video?

@@Frytech Thanks :)
The bass control knob at the back of the subwoofer isn't enough?
It isn't
How do I go about setting the EQ with a windows PC or samsung phone? Just connect through Bluetooth and use an EQ program to change? Because I use them for my home theatre so would the EQ stay if I move them or run audio from my TV?
The EQ is set by your device which is connected to those speakers, so if you move them and connect to other devices you'd have to set up EQ on that device as well. EQ settings are not stored inside the speakers.
how to do it without a pc , im using it with my tv and i don't have an equalizer on that ...
Unfortunately probably shit out of luck if your tv doesn’t have some sort of EQ
does anyone have equalizer apo file on this?
So what software do I need? I don't see any solution
Most equalizers for your operating system will do the job.
Thanks, it worked so well! Sounds beautiful now. @@Frytech
Is there a chance that it can crash and create a loud error sound, I am a bit afraid of this...
I didn’t have any problems, but you should try to test it yourself on your system and with the software you’re using now. I think it should be fine, but if you’re unsure, once again, make a few tests :)
Ok, can someone help me? I just bought this speakers and I'm extremey dissapointed. For 10 years I had Logitech X230 and they sounded better.. so.. Bass is very low, and in my experience bluetooth quality is much better than when my pc is connected. I would like to adjust the settings but I can't understand what I have to do. I'm on a Windows 10 pc.
Have you turned the bass up on the back
Use VLC player on android and max out 32hz keep 60 at normal drop 120hz to nothing turn up preamp 33 percent keep the other bands normal DONE!!! This only works with downloaded songs.
The frequency response of the sub barely plays 32 hz and has a spike at 120 making the bass sound tinny. With VLC'S eq you can make it sound smoothe like a 12 inch sub in a car tuned to 32hz!
Can you talk any quieter
how much subwoofer
Considering how muddy and over boosted the bass is in this video, I don't think I'm going to take this guy's advice.
jfan4reva If you really listened the examples in default Apple EarPods headphones there’s no way the bass sounded over boosted or muddy, it’s pretty spot on to what you’d hear in real life and sounds way better than the default settings of Logitech.
If you’re just talking about my voice, well, that’s just your opinion, but thanks for trying to insult me, always nice to deal with pleasant individuals! Have a good day!
What can be used for this in a Windows environment?
You can use EQ in Voicemeter Banana app, or try something like Equalizer APO, I guess.
@@Frytech Thank you
Any time!
What is the difference between z333 and 337?
chrissel 04 I think one has Bluetooth and another doesn’t.
listen to this video I can't see that we have different sound taste,
learn to turn down the base on ur mic too
I like how it sounds
“How to improve quality”
Doesn’t even show you 😂
What is the best App equalizer for Z333 thanks to all
The best one is the one you have and can use easily. If you want specific recommendations you might want to include your phone/computer/OS details, otherwise, I’m afraid no one could help you
@@Frytech i only using phone Galaxy A6 only 😌
@@Frytech thanks
Does the EQ settings stay after I disconnect my laptop? Sorry new to all this tech stuff.
Carlos Garcia Well, on Mac you need to run additional app, so basically each time you quit that app, your settings disappear, even without disconnecting the speakers. Likewise, if you connected other speakers and have z337 profile running, it will affect other speakers as well.
On Windows, if you’re using something like Voicemeeter banana, since it runs in the background, you can set desired settings and essentially forget about it. But, again, I’m pretty sure it will affect other audio system that you might connect in the future, so just be aware of it.
So, in summary, since all your EQ settings are stored on your laptop, after you disconnect it or close EQ app, speakers will sound bad again.
FrytechTV I see. I have windows, thanks a lot for the help and reply.
FrytechTV wait one more question if you dont mind! Which speakers that are also 2.1 do you think sound the most similar to your eq settings out the box? Price doesn't matter.
Sure, man, anytime! Thanks for watching!
Carlos Garcia
Honestly, I'm not very well versed in speakers and audio systems, so I can't really give you good advice about it. I'd like to encourage you to check out some other youtubers or websites, but besides aforementioned clavinetjunkie (who doesn't really review that many PC speakers, unfortunately) not many people, if any at all, are using binaural microphones, and not many people do just reproduction-type video, like I did, so it's extremely hard to judge the quality of speakers based on crappy sounding video.
So the best advice I can give you is to simply visit any local store where you might buy speakers and ask to listen them. I think it's the best way to select speakers without listening good recording like clavinetjunkie does.
The music with the EQ on sounds awful. Too much bass that just overpowers the rest of the frequencies. This video seems to me like a total time waster.
THGR Official If you’ve listened in Apple’s standard EarPods headphones there shouldn’t be too much bass, it should more or less realistically represent what you can expect from your Logitech system in real world.
Regardless of that, sorry if you didn’t find it useful.
Maybe check out other videos on my channel: who knows, you might find something helpful there.
@@Frytech do you have other videos from the z333 and z 377?
I would love to see some because I can't play my sound very loud but I want Bass and currently the only way to get bass out of these is to play the system loud so do you know fix for that
My take? Muddy, indistinct bass with Eq on (simulated). Sorry.
This or edifier xm6bt?
Arif Mahasin Sondani
Sorry, can’t really tell you, didn’t have a chance to test that Edifier. From the specs it seems like Edifier has more options: like usb/sd/remote - if any of those matter to you - go for Edifier; I’m sure you would have to tweak EQ on both of them anyway to get a decent sound.
But I only tested Logitech, so I can only tell you that it’s possible to get a better sound from this particular model, don’t know how well Edifier can perform.
@@Frytech thanks for the response!!
hope will reply sooner. im gonna pick one soon thx alot:
Download dfx, problem solved.
Logitech is only good for movies... very worst for music. i will never again prefer them.
why do you say that?
