Oh yeah, just saying, this isn't a super easy app to make and you can't just "prompt chatGPT" to create it. Even the best developers would need to spend hours on this app to make it, think about the billing, authentication, obtaining licences for the images and collaborating with artists, creating a good UI. This does not happen in 5 minutes of chatGPT prompting bro.

If you don’t consider such wallpapers subscription apps a scam in and of itself I can’t explain this to you. If in your head you can justify Subscription to download JPG files for $12/m & 50/y, and do correlate it with the same value as Spotify, which basically has most of the music in the world, or Netflix, which has thousands of films and TV shows that take actual millions of dollars to produce - you’re a lost cause and I’d politely ask you to stop wasting my time. It’s so blatantly obvious that one of those things is not like the others, that you can describe it in two words, “Value proposition”.

Yeah it doesn't have the fancy transitions and UI but I'm guessing a days work from someone with intermediate experience in coding will probably get you there. Not sure why I'm surprised at this point but it's been kind of disappointing seeing the slow descent of MKBHD from honest review based content to just more content more money. Seems he picked up a few traits from all those exclusive CEO interviews

People on all social media, but especially on twitter, are tearing him and this trash app apart. Turns out the images are stored as web links or something crazy like that and folks have essentially downloaded them all already and uploaded for free. Because it’s the internet, and this is a scam cash grab attempt from someone who “should’ve known better”.

@@guilhermemoraes5879 Thank you very much for watching! I see your point about external drives, but from my own experience it’s always nice to have more internal storage. I remember I was traveling once, got inspired and wanted to record some melody in Logic. Well, tough luck for me, because at that time I moved my Audio Library to external SSD and I either forgot the drive, or straight up reformatted it, deleting all those samples and plugins.🤦🏻‍♂️ Needless to say, that wouldn’t have happened if that audio library was living on my internal drive like it does now :)😅 But those audio libraries can be quite massive, dozens if not hundreds of gigabytes of samples combined, and I don’t even mention 4K videos here😅 Hence why I do recommend something like 2TB of storage for creatives if people can put some more money into it. But that’s just my view, I clearly see your point, especially since Apple’s storage (and RAM to be honest too) prices are absurdly high, and I too use external hard drives and SSDs all the time.

@@ThomasPaulsen I know about clamshell mode and it’s garbage, in my opinion, since you can’t use an amazing trackpad and pretty decent keyboard. Makes basically ZERO sense, at least to me, hence why I didn’t even bother mentioning this nonsense (just highlighted it on the screen). M Pro or Max chips, even 1st or 2nd gen, still rule right now and they all come with min 16GB RAM, no need to wait for M4, and they cost actually reasonably now :) But thank you for watching, I appreciate it! And as a user of both Mac and Windows (for occasional gaming and streaming) I can tell you - switch to Mac for anything but gaming, I think you’ll be quite happy :)

About coding performance: I’d highly recommend you to check out Alex Ziskind channel (youtube.com/@azisk), he’s done a lot of various testing of M-series for coding scenarios specifically, I think even compared to Windows laptops too. Or perhaps search for specific tests you wanna know about on YT. Unfortunately I haven’t done any coding type of tests, so I can’t share with you any firsthand experience. As to Win vs Mac, I prefer Mac for everything apart from gaming and streaming.

@@nastazia5257 Sorry to hear that, maybe TT changed something. I’d also try to completely Log Out of my account and then reinstall the app: completely delete it from the phone first, reboot the phone, and then redownload it from the AppStore and Log back in. Maybe that would help?

@@PupunRayna I’m afraid this is the best I have so far. Try that command again, reconnect the phone, and just try it one more time. My iphone also disconnected like once or twice, I recall, I think I connected it with another cable I had around the house - and it worked. Maybe try that if you can?

One reason to switch to Mac eventually :) zero problems like that and Hardware GPU encoding works even in a Free version of Resolve (unlike in Windows where it’s only H265, and even that was added relatively recently)

Might be the case if you use Free instead of paid Studio version. Not everything is supported in Free version. I’d highly recommend you to check out their manual, must be on BM website. Please, let me know afterwards what you’ve found.

Unfortunately, until TT fixes this bug I’m afraid there’s no option to have animated previews. That is of course if you even have that bug, not all of the people do, so that’s why I think TT isn’t in a hurry to actually investigate and fix it.

how's the battery? can you still recommend it for 2-3 years of usage?

@@jhipex I can chime in about that. My 12 still has 86% of battery and it’s pretty solid unless I literally use it nonstop without turning off screen for hours basically. Then it doesn’t survive till the end of the day. If you use it moderately, with, let’s say, like 30mins using Camera app, 1-2 hours of various social media like Insta or Twi or TT, 1-2 hours of music/podcast listening, 30min-1h of talking via FaceTime Audio or WhatsApp, maybe an occasional other app here and there - you’ll get basically a full day battery life, even on my already somewhat degraded battery. And yeah, it should still be good for another couple years. But, now having used the phone quite a bit more I’d definitely recommend, if you have just a bit more money to spend, to go for Pro model, at least if you’re in any way interested in Photo/Video. That longer Telephoto camera of Pro models can be really handy and I do miss not having it quite a lot when I want to capture something at a distance, which happens surprisingly often in my case (but that might be just me). Otherwise, just try to buy as much storage as you can, my 128 is definitely not enough for me, as 4K video files on the phone are quite big. Also, like I’ve mentioned in the video, make sure to check not only iPhone 12 or 12 Pro, but also 13 (and 13 Pro). Sometimes I’ve seen very small price difference between them, like $30-50, and if you see such small delta - you should go with 13/13 Pro. Hope it helps

Once again, just to reiterate, I’d suggest anyone to first look at 12 Pro model before going to 13, and the same with 13 Pro vs regular 14, as Pro model generally will give you more features than just going one model year newer. But if you already carefully considered that choice - that’s awesome, you’ll have a nice experience in any case!
