Just got this guitar and love it. The Bigsby is more subtle and nuanced than those on the other guitars in the store. The versatility is great and the semi-hollow body makes for a unique and wonderful sound. It occupies its own niche among my guitars, exactly what I was aiming for. And one can get lost for hours exploring its sonic beauty.
Just got mine this week. It was nearly in tune out of the box! It's going to take a bit of getting used to, due to the different, slightly larger body, but I think I'll keep it! 😅
Reeves Gabrels is a genius, no case can be made against that statement. You may not like what he's doing, but musically... he's over your head and miles out front. Trent Reznor's commencement speech for The Cure's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame made me start watching Reeves' videos again. Both guys operate in the same space to meld beautiful mistakes into music. His modified bigsby is a huge selling point musically, I really want his guitar!

It's definitely based on the second Trini Lopez signature. That guitar even had a kill switch and the Fender style headstock just like this one. I assume they don't want to say that outright because this was recorded during the whole Gibson "Play Authentic" garbage and they didn't want to get sued.

I don’t know where to look to see if they made one. I have a lefty Billy Corgan BC1 guitar so they do lefty signature models sometimes.
