The highest-quality zoo tour format video that I have ever encountered. The format is perfection, and the commentary communicates the pertinent information in a direct, precise and crystal-clear manner. The filming technique with regard to panning, etc is perfect in order to provide architectural comprehension of the exhibits. It was very useful to find the floor plan attached for easy consultation. The illumination was optimum throughout and image quality was perfect. All in all a great effort which does justice to this amazing facility in this storied zoo. A real treasure for the zoo connoisseur. Thank you so Much! Paul Laurence Sweeney.
Wonderful, one of the best improvements of a historical exhibits I've seen! I especially like how, even though it is a Southeast Asian rainforest house, it keeps to its roots as a big cat/carnivore house too. With the Alfred-Brehm house being so masterfully redone, just imagine what improvements we'll see in Tierpark Berlin's future! :D
The Asiatic golden cat is so inquisitive! And love the walk-through tree kangaroo exhibit, too. The house used to keep too many carnivores in too small cages, glad to see the new house have such lush exhibits.
I love how the indoor enclosure for tigers looks. In most zoo, the indoor quaters visible for public are much smaller, with just a few platforms and logs. I will be visitng both Berlin zoo and Tierpark Berlin for the first time next week, and your videos really helped me to know what I can expect.
Thank you! Unfortunately I didn’t manage to film any other exhibits at Tierpark but filmed multiple exhibits at Zoo Berlin and Zoo Leipzig which you can see on my channel!
Fun fact: Alfred Brahm came up with the idea for this kind of rainforest house in a school assignment where the kids should write about their dreams. The teacher just judged it as a silly reverie. Later it became world famous for the first free flight hall for tropical birds and Alfred Brehm is one of the most decorated german zoologists. He would be very proud how the Tierpark renovated his love project to the modern standards.

I love your tours, my friend. Plus, you got some great footage of the animals.

Superb video tour of a great exhibit.
i think it would be cool if there was an over pass that connected both outdoor tiger exhibits
In 1983 I visited the house, it was full of rats and dirt... GDR times. What a good transformation.
Thanks for the video, I have yet to see the old version of this haus. Do you have a video of that too?
You’re welcome!
And unfortunately I don’t have any videos of the old haus but you should be able to find some online!
Great job! Thank you for putting so much effort into this! Did you also film any of the other complexes in the Tierpark?
Thank you!
