Lord, I hand over my regrets, shame and defeat to You as I await Your great glory.
Thank you Lord for leading me to Pastor Steven and Elevation Church. You have saved my life through this Church. Pastor Steven's sermons have helped me up keep going even on my toughest days. In your name I will always pray, Amen!

There was a part that made me take my hands off the wheel and clap praises to Gods word, I watch a lot of these and I’ve never commented but around the 24:50 mark he says that God likes to sneak peace into the world through chaos.... it may not mean anything to anyone else but it was an answer to me.... and I thank God for what he’s doing
Wow ive been going through a tough time right now, thank you Lord for using Pastor Steven to deliver your message for me.. before i am lost and hopeless but now i have returned to where i belong. Thank you Lord for your grace and radical love.

It's always easy to judge someone in a position of power. But I have a lot of respect for someone that brings people to Christ. Whether you agree with their philosophy or not. It still is a very hard Job.
I've been faced with disappointment daily and I've found one of the most Awesomest person who I'd give the world to..however, he's not mine to do that with!! I'm struggling with this issue cause I KNOW THE END IS CLOSER THEN ID LIKE IT. TO BE. Plz give me the strength to move on and fulfill this VOID that lives so deep inside me.
Looking back to move forward

I have been at that "had hoped" place many times in my life. Yet, God, my Savior and my Hope, has always come to me in some way and renewed my hope. I have finally learned that my present circumstances don't determine the outcome.
I've been going through so much and I've realized that I've been carrying a burden that Jesus has been wanting to carry for me. I've been struggling with shame and the guilt of all the wrong decisions I've made over the past 5months and I am so thankful that God wants me to hand it over to him because it is a burden that was too heavy for my heart to carry alone. I realize that I don't have to carry it anymore and I can enter into his glory unashamed because I know now that my works or good deeds are not what allows me to enter into his glory but it is through grace that I can experience his glory. I let my shame hinder me from experiencing his grace and glory but now I've handed all that over and I'm so grateful for this message. Praise be to God.❤️
Hey, yes cast your cares upon the Lord because He cares!!! Being ashamed for our sins is great, because God forgives us through His Son's blood!!! Continue walking and pressing on!!! If ever you fall short hold on too God's unchanging hand!!! Keep praying!!! You got this!

Luke 24:28 "Did not the Messiah have to suffer these things and then enter his glory?"
This dug deep into my heart. The WHOLE sermon of course, however, this particular verse spoke to me. I thought to myself, the pain and suffering sucks so bad. Days where I feel like not being here...but wait.. Patrice, "Did not the Messiah have to suffer FIRST.( just like you are) these things and THEN enter his glory?". This gave me insight on how Jesus, too, suffered so much more, but yet LOOK at the outcome. His glory still rose from the grave in the end. Which brings me to the verse Romans 8:18 " For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

I know the bible only records what God wants us to read...but the events happening at that moment in time were continuously unfolding at every point all around the earth...only God knows exactly what were happening everywhere at the same time! Glory to God Almighty!

Honestly, how do you know that nobody should ever let someone from their past back in their life, such as a spouse after divorce. Times today are so difficult, things are not seen in proper perspective sometimes. If God hates divorce, why would we never let someone from the past come back?
