Hot Toys strives for accuracy? That's why they've made this figure so many times. It's a never ending cycle, over and over again. They make small improvements each time in the hopes that collectors will spend their hard earned money for each updated release. I'm happy and content with the DX19 version. This version has some improvements for sure, but I'll stick with what I currently have regardless. Thanks, Dean! As always, I really appreciate the hard work, passion, and dedication! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!
Or maybe there will be first time owners like myself for such an iconic trilogy. Always wanted a DK Batman to go with my Artisan Joker on pre-order. And this is the one. The entitlement to preserve previous versions is crazy. These figures are not an investment. And anyone always thinking of flipping USED figures for profit is delusional. Ya’ll whine too much. It’s going to sell out regardless of your feels. 😭
Literally just gone out and brought a brand new DX19 for a pretty penny then this dropped. However I still prefer the Bruce Wayne sculpt I have at this point until we see the new one in hand.
HOT TOYS are flooding the market with DC and Batman especially in a bid to over-saturate it before INART get going properly. also they may be doing it to compensate for smaller edition runs of star wars figures. Bit sad this got all the love when really all of this should have been on the DX19. But hey, thats HT for you.
As much as I don't have much interest in this set, I'll say at least their making some tweaks to the suit and making new head sculpts. Just have to wonder where the hell that was for their Batman Begins figure which they re-released a couple years back, and it was a straight up re-release with no tweaks or updates. The original figure was from 2011, and if they weren't going to do a totally new figure, they couldn't have done a new cowl with new face plates? They did the 1/4 scale figure which was a lot better, I would have thought they could have maybe just shrunk those down to 1/6. Maybe it's not that simple, but whatever the case, that figure needed upgrades and got none. That movie just doesn't get the respect it deserves.
Hello Dean! Love the New, The Dark Knight Armory Figure! That's Awesome Hot Toys made that Figure again. Especially those who Missed. And a chance for all DC Fans Collectors to get it! 🤩🤩🤩👍👍
The 2.0 Bane looks great, a genuine 2.0. At least we've had a decade plus to own and appreciate the 1.0 Bane before the new one comes along. That, and it's not locked within a pricey set. I must say though that the Daft Toys coupled with a Phicen M34/35 looks absolutely fantastic, a tank, even if it isn't entirely screen accurate.
@@ShadyDBZ4What would be your solution? A seamless arm with one fixed hand, a seamless arm with an articulated hand, a swap-out arm... Or something else? Even though the joint detracts from the realism, it doesn't bother me that much. I suppose owning the Hot Toys AOU Hulk might have something to do with this.
@@dangiambrone7350 I would have suggested a switch out non articulate arm like Thanos from Infinity War. I don’t have any idea why Hot Toys haven’t done that again after all these years. Thats the sole reason I didn’t want this Bane. The figure outside of that wrist is 🔥. At the end of the day if you’re happy with it that’s all that matters since you’re spending your hard earned money on it.
@@artofgardunoTrue, it's been 8 years and they've made a lot of improvements. What's frustrating for me, and I expect others, is that the DX19 only came out two years ago, surely we could have had the quality we're seeing on this new Batman figure back in 2022? It's also annoying that we're not given the option to purchase this Batman separately as it's locked within an expensive set.
@@ShadyDBZ4That's an idea, though truth be told, I am only interested in the Batman figure, not the armoury itself or the Bruce Wayne. I'll either wait for someone to sell their Batman from this set, as I did with the 1.0, or I will hold out for Inart's offering in the next life.
Agree, it's the same old again. Think this is more for a market takeover in relation to the batman dark Knight. Inart is coming and they know the dx29 isn't good enough. I am still without a dark Knight and need one to go with the joker. But I'll still wait for inart to show theirs (up for pre order) and then decide that or this. No question, in finally looks great, but unless you're rare like me and don't have one yet, this is very groundhog day. Frustrations with those who have brought many before, including the recent (ish) dx19.
The only thing with Inart is that by the time their TDK Batman is with us, (and not just the "influencers") many of us will be looking as old as this new Hot Toys Bruce Wayne sculpt, and walking with a cane.
I wish you'd make even more of these "my thoughts" videos. Your attention to detail and assessments are always compelling. I'm all for 2.0's when they offer a decent aggregate of improvements. My annoyances here is that if you want this improved Batman figure, it's locked behind a £500+ paywall. Also, the DX19 is only a couple of years old, surely Hot Toys could have delivered this standard "back" in 2022? The same goes for Darth Maul, even though the 1.0 is what? 4 years old? Hot Toys were knocking things out of the park with the likes of Yondu at that time, the accuracy to its source was so much higher than what the original Maul was. So what is it? A lack of iteration and QC, or Hot Toys knowing damn well they'd rinse collectors once again?
@@deanknight333 That's bloody annoying to hear. I am ambivalent when it comes to Inart. Their figures are the most realistic looking and highest quality pieces I have ever laid my hands on. On the other side, their communications are piss-poor ('we're shipping, we've shipped', they said in March about Batman and yet only 5 or so influencers on YT have them), and their batch system is a joke. And now I hear this, that the best, most authentic and critical figure reviewer gets sidelined for some, not all, easily pleased clapping seals.

Good for new collector who miss Armory 1.0 and aftermarket for that 1.0 is expensive. I think HT doing well, you dont have to collect the same thing over again if you already own one. but wish to see they 2.0 Terminator 2 tho
It’s a pity they never bothered to fix the “V” shaped lines on the sternum. Those lines are slightly raised on the actual screen-use costume. JND statue gets it right, Queen Studio life-size also gets it right. It’s a small detail I know, but small details add up to make a world of difference. Same with the contours on the cowl. Even microscopic mistakes can make the entire cowl look inaccurate.
All the characters from this movie line need to be put away already, too many of this suit and the joker ans so on....from all toy companies give it a rest.
Hot Toys has got me thinking there was a Mandela effect going on, due to the amount of times they've released this suit...
“Waiting for hot toys to come up with something original” absolutely destroyed me 😂
It’s true though the list of villains they haven’t done yet is endless.
I’m good with the last release. He’s on my Batpod as we speak looking badass.
I have the pod I need the figure can’t find one for good price I may get this. Have a Bruce as well

Nothing beats the Begins suit. It may be less comfortable to wear, but its design is perfection.
Too right. The BB suit is much more intimidating and mysterious looking.
I definitely like the new cowl and neck more, regardless of accuracy. Old one just looks doofy, not intimidating in the slightest to me
Why haven’t you made a video about the BvS Batman 2.0 and Armoured Batman?
I wanna know your your thoughts!
Also the 2.0 1989 Batman
