I just made this haircut on myself, I'm not a hairdresser and it came out amazing! It was super easy to follow and execute. I'm happy to have finally found my favourite haircut tutorial! Thanks a lot :)
That is such an amazing cut I love it I've never been able to find a stylist to give me a good but I've only had one cut in my life that I've been happy with and I'm 60 years old your awesome keep up the outstanding work 🎉
Why why the same sh*t happens every time. I see the amazing hair stylist whose work is perfect and he's always from another country in one thousand miles from me 😕
love this tutorial! tried it out on my best friend’s sister and i felt so professional. i even slowed the video down to mimic the way you switch between brush and scissors. thank you!!! ❤
Can you please make a tutorial that does these layers but on butt length hair???? i want short layers around the crown but keep the length and have it be like this video. I never see any tutorials for this length of hair (which is understandable because it is extra long hair and not as common)🙏
I had butt length hair and I would use this tutorial. But since I have very thick hair the longer it was the more heavy and it was starting to bother me. So I cut it similar to this but angling all the hair up in order to create more layers and reduce weight. But now I feel it’s too layered and I want to go back to this cut 😂
@lorenapadro9822 Hi!! Thanks for sharing your experience!! :) It's nice to hear from someone who has/had long hair at this length! I feel that, same here, does get pretty heavy 😩 the only reason thats stopping me from cutting mine shorter is im trying to see if i can grow it to my knees as a bucket list thing for fun- stringy or not then ill get it cut shorter and layer it 💀🥴 Since the time I wrote my previous comment, I did lots of research and I did find the technique you did? Or similar- angling all the way straight up to remove weight & for lots of layers and preserving length? was it kind of like Jake Thompsons video??? : ua-cam.com/video/uUu6keV95U4/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared Also I am definitely looking for a ton of layers. I currently have thigh length hair and a 2a/possible 2b wave pattern to my hair, but its all one length and I've never had layers before to bring out my natural texture (the last 6 inches honestly is where it gets a bit thin for my personal liking and goes into a v shape by itself already, the rest is pretty thick mostly being from my waist up) so basically its good you mentioned it feels like too much layers 😂 that's exactly what I want so ill probably do that because I need volume so bad 😩😩 Anyways sorry for the long af Ted talk, thanks so much again for sharing, it helped a lot in thinking about how I want it cut in the future! 😀
@@Rahrahrahhh3 I’m glad this helped! That link you posted uses a slide cut technique that I don’t like and since i have curly hair thats not recommended if you want nice clumps. I pull everything up and do a blunt cut and cut straight across horizontally parallel to the floor to get more layers in the top and back. I believe amongst stylists its called 180 degree layers. Good luck!
I find it crazy how people keep getting the worse hair cuts like- I’m currently just a student in my highschool learning about cosmo, but even I wouldn’t do such a horrible layering haircut to a client… this is why I stick to cutting my own hair
The best channel for explaining how to cut layers for log hair, which look good on straight hair too. Even better when no words are needed.
