love your videos I attempted my first mead but I think I might have messed up and think it turned out bad. It was initially a simple mead just plain honey and then after 3 weeks I added some raspberry but tasted odd. I dont know if maybe the ABV was way to high as I didnt take a reading as i didnt have one. I was wondering if you have any playlist of simple easy to do meads that are low ABV that I can look at and attempt.
I'm new to making mead. I've made two batches that are in their primary stage. I have a question, I'd like to make an apple mead and I have a few apple pie filling jars that I canned in the summer. The jars contain apples, water and sugar. Do you think it would work to make a mead with them? Or would the added sugar throw it off?
Greetings from Norway! Started my mead making journey 3 months ago with your videos. I had only tasted it once, and now I make and drink my own thanks to you! There's no good videos or tutorials from Norwegians (suprising I know!) so thank you for spreading awereness about mead and content on how to make it.
I live in a hot place so I only brew meads in the fall... we'll start consistently being below 80 degrees this week and so I'm doing a refresher on mead making and this was an excellent guide as a refresher. Thanks.
Try out a Kveik yeast. They perform well in hot temps. I was brewing mead all summer in my garage, here in Texas using Voss Kveik yeast. They do have quite a high nutrient requirement though.
I just started two brews for the first time really excited to see how they turn out will definitely let you know since I’ve been following all your videos for the tips! They are both traditional brews, but one with the orange blossom honey, and then a clover honey, two different yeast safale BE256 and lalvin d47
Greetings from subtropics Australia great work I just started my first batch I'm really keen on getting it right cause I have high hopes for the future cause I have many many hives .
You keep switching between saying ferment and fermint
Teasing aside, this is a lot of great info, thank you!

It's probably just young and needs some age. It might also need some back sweetening or more fruit flavor.
Nice and high-quality compilation Garrett! Thanks for inspiring people to make (better) mead.
