It's been called a sweetheart Philodendron for 40 years. I chopped the best parts and propped her, she is doing wonderfully. Must be hubby's snoring. Philodendron Brasil also doing wonderfully. It's a west facing window. Prince of Orange, a memorial plant is behind Brasil and found alright. Philodendron Moonlight is sucking! Leaf tips browning, any ideas how to help? Too much light!?!? i recently started collecting plants and i have a “Sweet Caroline Sweetheart Jet Black” and the leaves are turning a bright pink instead of the dark purple and i’m not sure the cause. It is growing new leaves and seems healthy besides the color changes. If anyone can help me it’ll be much appreciated!! I haven’t been able to find an answer online yet

I have a glass house! Literally the front and back of my house is made of huge, ceiling to floor windows, or giant custom made, way oversized sliding glass doors. There's two giant bay windows in the front, two windows in each bedroom, basically a glass wall in the master with a sliding door, and two big windows on either side, and I still get HORRIBLE lighting. I live on a heavily wooded lot, and because there's so many trees I think every room in my house besides for maybe my daughter's room is low light all day, I think my daughter's room might get medium light for about 2 or 3 hours, early in the day, before the sun moves into the trees. I have 2.5 acres, and just want a small little garden with maybe a tomato plant or two, some green beans, a few onions, nothing huge, but a few staples for meals, maybe garlic, a couple herbs, but nowhere in my yard gets more then 1 hour of full sun. We bought the house last October, so during the winter I didn't really notice how much I would struggle with light, because shortly after we moved in the trees started dropping their leaves for fall, but as soon as spring hit I was like oh no! I had to give a lot of my plants to my sister in law, and my mom because I just don't get the light they require. 🥺

All of them! It's an East facing window and the largest in the house! Last plant I purchased was an Exotica....I'm obsessed, can't wait for it to grow, got 3 plants out of one order🥰!!! My plants are the 1st thing I see in the morning and the last in the evening! I agree plants in the bedroom are not everyone's cup of tea, but that's alright because I like coffee☕...lol! 💚🌱🌿💚
Hi Harli! I love your videos! I think the peperomia is called Perciliata, but I’m not entirely sure. I have seen a plant like yours (complete with wild and free vines defying gravity LOL) sold on Etsy under the name Peperomia Perciliata. Some articles online show photos of a Pep with fuzzy leaves, but others feature glossy leaves like the ones on your plant. They usually display a plant with small heart shaped leaves and red stems. I hope this helps!

Now it is overgrown and I decided to cut it and to sell cuttings. And people buy it willingly! So I have an idea to buy more such plants (popular, fast-growing, with easy propagation) to sell cuttings and get money for new plants😀! What other such plants it may be? I also have a balcony off my room, and have some plants out there, but none inside my bedroom bedroom.

My bedroom plants range feom calatheas and diffenbachia, to coleus, all the way to cacti, succulents and lithops! The coleus and lithops were all grown from seed so its so fun being able to watch their progress everyday!
I need more bedroom plants!! Right now I only have my domino peace lily, anthurium clarinervium, Hoya macrophylla variegata, Hoya obovata, Hoya Lacunosa, and cebu blue. Maybe I need a cabinet in my room 😋
If u just want the canopy bed to hang plants from...u should look at pinterest for other ideas😁...like metal rods across your ceiling..or painted pvc pipes ...there's a lot of diff ways to pull it off so u dont have a billion holes in your ceiling 👍
65 plants and 2 propagation boxes in my bedroom it would be easier saying what plants aren't in my bedroom lol . I have 5 sections in my house that have plants 250 plants total.

If you want lighter leafs from your Florida Ghost, you have to give ist more light, not less :).
