    Thank you very much for this video.
    I set it up according to your recommendation. I have the same Rodecaster and the same mic, only instead of Cloudfilter I use FetHead phantom (I bought it today). When I use the FetHeadPhantom, there is a thin squeak in the recording. Do you know, I can I reduce it...? Thanks!

      Where did you connect the Fethead? Directly to the Shure SM7B or to the XLR input of the RodeCaster Pro?

    Could you do a video or share the setting for a Rodecastor Pro 1 x THe Blue Zona Mic. Alot of use are using this combo on Twitter Spaces as the Rodecastor 2 has not been performing when trying to pickup phone input via Bluetooth

    My recordings have been coming out really quiet on the rode caster pro 2 with the Shure SM7B if I put them in Final Cut Pro they are unusable, I will give these tips a go and see if it helps with that. Thanks

    I’m stuck using Shure sm7b with rodecaster pro and getting an out through yolo live box. It keeps giving me humm sound and its prominent.
    Tried all the settings that you recommended. Do you have another suggestion for me?

    Great video. I just subscribed and liked this video because I just got this exact setup! With the exception of the headset I got the Jbl 800 wireless headset! I also upgraded my laptop to an HP 360! This is the most perfect complete setup I've ever had! I had started with the Livtrak L8, but the Rodecaster by far is best ever! I'll be relaunching my podcast this summer. Any recommendations for getting intro/outro Audio's recorded? Thank you for your video. This made set up extremely easy!

    Deciding on the Zoom podcaster and Rode Podcaster- I wanted to know about the export file. In the case of post editing, could you speak to how to separate the recordings of each party? Once you record a session, are all streams merged to one file or can they be separated? Thanks! Great video- I'm a shure person but was thinking of getting an NT-1.

    • @kettnercreative
      @kettnercreative  3 роки тому +1

      We haven't unboxed our Zoom Podcaster yet, but the Rodecaster Pro can multi-track record on the computer and with an SD card. You can export the full mix or each track separately. Further, the ergonomics of the Rodecaster Pro are far better than the Zoom unit. Having the I/O on the back is much better than bringing all of your cable through the top of the device.

      @@kettnercreative Exactly what I needed! I hope to do less in post but, anything live may require a touch up for publishing for internal work audiences. Thanks so much for this! Great video-love the use of icons to understand which mic and walk-through set up. In addition to this follow up, this video has resolved a lot for me!

    If I don’t have the voice mode listed does that mean I need to update the software on my Rodecaster Pro or what could be the reason it’s not listed?

    • @destinyvallejo
      @destinyvallejo 3 роки тому +1

      your “Effects Edit Mode” is on if you don’t see the voice strength as an option,
      settings>advanced>audio>processing & you should be able to turn mode on/off

    Hi Kettner, i follow you from Italy :) great video as always! I have a little question: i don't get if you suggest to use the Condenser mode or the Dynamic one with phantom power active, when you use the CloudLifter or is it the same? Thank you

    • @kettnercreative
      @kettnercreative  3 роки тому

      You have two choices. You can either use the condenser mode, or dynamic mode. If you use dynamic, you have to manually turn on phantom power.

    hi! why would I be hearing a lot of white noise with this set-up?

    • @kettnercreative
      @kettnercreative  2 роки тому

      Is your headphone preamp cranked up all of the way? It's possible that the "white noise" you're hearing is from the headphone preamp and is not actually in your recording.

    Problem: If you use the condenser setting for the cloud lifter it will SHOW that the phantom power is on but it's NOT! You HAVE to use the dynamic setting with phantom power to run the cloud lifter! I made this mistake, hope this helps!
