Nice to see you Bethanne! I wasn’t convinced by Sea of Tranquility either 😕 I gave it 2 stars. I agree with you about the unfinished feeling (though it wasn’t my main complaint), it felt more like... an exercise? Maybe? Idk. I’ll talk about it a little bit in my midyear freakout.
Hi, Mariana! Thanks for watching. 😊 Good to see you, too! My book club liked this book even less than I did. I think they were all down in the 2 stars range with you! I'll look forward to hearing a little more of your thoughts about it in your midyear freakout. 😃
There was a deliberate choice in The Witch's Heart to sew up Every. Single. Detail... Fell a little flat for me, because of pacing and language, though world was pretty cool. ;D
Yes, I'm easily annoyed by authors who wrap everything up neatly at the end as well as those who leave too many things unanswered! I'm a Goldilocks reader, I guess. :P I'll still read The Witch's Heart eventually! I have a copy somewhere...
Station Eleven wasn't really success for me but I forgot why exactly I didn't like it. But I think the author has a nice writing style so I would love to try this.
'I remain unconvinced' --fair enough! 😆
Story of my life.
Fingers crossed! 😂 Thanks for the update and book review!
We can always hope for more BookTube time.... 🤣🤣 Thanks for watching!
Bethanne! You're back! With a book you didn't exactly love, but you're back!
Trying to be back! :) Lots of videos to catch up on!!!
It's on my owned TBR but it sounds like I can take my time getting to it
On my *wishlist* TBR 😋
It was definitely worth reading, and it's very short! :)

It sucks when the most interesting character gets the smallest part in the book.
Yes, it's frustrating!

It was definitely beautifully written! And especially poignant since it's a pandemic novel written during a pandemic...
