Thanks for that. As with everything it’s all in the preparation. The beds need to be as flat as possible to allow the heat to disperse evenly throughout the heat bed. Are you going to build a propagation bed?
Hi, I hope you see this. thanks for the video, it was very clear. On the internet I see different cables with different watts so how do I know which one to pick, also would it be better to build it like a couveuse so there would be less heat loss? the only place where I can put a heating table is in an unheated room on the north side on the house because its the only place where the floor is level.
@@veracaland312 Hi Vera. Many thanks for watching the video and for the message. I get what you mean about too many options on the cables. I would say that to begin with you need to work out the length of cable you need as, to a certain extent, that will also dictate what the power output of the cable will be. If you have the option then I would go for a more powerful heating cable but make sure to connect to a thermostat from which you can then control the temperatures. You will be amazed as to how much heat is given from a heated bench. When I ran mine I didn’t actually need to have the heater on in the greenhouse. If you need to keep the plants warmer then you could construct a frame that extends above or to the side, as I did, that enables you to fix some polythene to act as a polytunnel or a bit like an incubator as you would suggest. I hope that makes sense to you. If you need any help then please feel free to message me here or easier still via instagram, under the same name. All the best 🌸🌼
Many thanks and hope you are doing well. It gives me twice the amount of heated bench space, something that I have been lacking since growing Dahlias too. Building it did take me back 30 ish years to when we built our original propagation house. 🌸
I love how meticulous you were with levelling that sand! Great job
Thanks for that.

Nicely done! It looks to be very useful.
Many thanks and hope you are doing well.
