I saw the phone number on the bull dozer and was so confused when it has the same area code as me. I didn’t realize I lived so close to the splatalot set. I loved that show when it was younger.
Me to! I watched this show so much as a kid! And i found out about this place 3 mouths ago and and its only about an hour away and i was like I NEED TO GO! sucks they took it down :(
Wow. It breaks my heart a little to see the set get destroyed, but great to hear that they've created a show to say goodbye to it. I absolutely loved the show and wanted to be on it so bad(my parents said no though since we lived so far away) but it was still so much fun to watch. Especially with these guys 4:10
My daughter was watching some reruns of the show on UA-cam and begged me to let her be on it. So I looked up the show, and informed her that they filmed it in an entirely different country. Then informed her that the show was canceled the same year she was BORN! ...then I continued reading the Wikipedia article and stumbled upon a mentioning of Bright Sun Films! I was all like, “what?! Hold on! I watch this!” Then I crushed my daughters dreams even further by informing her of the set itself.
I love when you post! I hate seeing abandoned places destroyed. :( it just totally ends the story of what used to be. Like it never existed. I love seeing how nature can reclaim the abandoned! Much love, and it’s ALWAYS a great day when you post!
Very cool! I loved the original video you did. :) Did you catch Adam the Woo's latest video? He was filming from the lake River Country and you might find it interesting considering your personal experiences with the abandoned waterpark!
Very late to this, but the set was just outside my hometown and drove past it every week. I never really realized how many people actually watched the show until I saw the vid you guys did a few years ago.
This is totally late, but the set was demolished for various reasons, two of them being that it was growing mould everywhere and the soil was contaminated. Having it remain would have probably been a long-term hazard for animals, let alone humans. Sometimes it's just plain dangerous to leave things to decay :(
@@JakeWilliams Hey Jake, love your vids!!! I was looking on Google Maps... did they cover up where the location is? Someone on a different video told me where and I still cannot find it.. I am wondering if the town asked Google to hide it to prevent kids from going.. Even though it is gone now I figured they wouldn't have updated it yet and you would be able to see it?
Instead of making a combo of wipeout and splatalot to revive the set...that would have been awesome! Sadly never seen the show but from the set I can tell it must've been good entertainment. Too bad they really destroyed it and therefore revived wipeout with john cena.... What a bad decision making here.
The people demolishing the set are the kids who lost the show
They must still be angry

Going from here to the new show. Thanks Jake - I’m right behind you!
Disneyland should take some inspiration from this and film me demolishing everything Star Wars related in Tomorrowland.
I agree! I wish Disney never even got involved with Star Wars
Hell yeah
Shoulda turned the place into a paintball course
I always wondered how it started between you two.
Joshua Ayres it’s so weird to think back to this day bring the first time we met!

Also knew a guy who was on the show, he ended up winning an iPad for coming out.
3:08 NO ONE at all is gonna talk about what was written on the wall?
Really interesting how the people behind the show are somehow keeping it alive.
Wish they would keep abandoned things the way it was.
agreed

You were filming vertically two years ago? People are capable of learning. Faith in humanity restored!... And it's gone.
That was filmed on Snapchat.
@@JakeWilliams Omg Jake replied to me. I don't even know what to say. How about, "What's up you guys?" 😎

They screwed up haha
Why did it shut down
Rest in peace
Ok
Anyone else used to watch this on YTV...?

Never heard of it. Must be a canadian thing.
a user it is. It’s basically Wipeout for kids
It did air in the United States but only the first season was shown.
@@shanenickel-thibodeau Wipeout in itself is just American MXC which is based on the original JP version titled Takeshi's Castle
