@@arlencarlson I just started using UTM. I like it, I do feel that Parallels and VMWare have more streamlined usability. Let me know your experience using VMWare. Considering getting it for my job as an alternative.
Thanks so much for this detailed walkthrough. Wanted to just confirm something you mentioned in the video. Reviews have been stating that Fusion Pro 13 does not support 3D and Open GL (as well as graphics acceleration?) but you mention here that as long as you uncheck it in preferences and recheck after windows loads will allow you to support these features. Is this a one time workaround or do you need to do this each time you open a windows vm? Apologies if you specified in the video. Thanks again for the helpful tutorial!
Hey - VMWare Fusion Apple Silicon, Makes M1 run 🔥 Hot ??? I been using UTM for a long time, it never gets hot, but VMWare Fusion does get hot. example - i use parrot os on both VMWare Fusion & UTM. - If I start little Firefox with few tabs watch some videos and let's say also use VPN as well & one terminal open on the UTM it's temperature stays normal but same stuff in VMware Fusion it gets hot (With almost same settings and resolutions on both VMWare and UTM) I must add that the only extra option i enable on VMware Fusion is Enable "Use full resolution for Retina Display" - would that make its temperature hot ???
After booting my VM, the guest shows a message "Start PXE over IPv4" and doesn't start up. Any change of the number of processors, quantity of memories or storages doesn't work. It would be appreciated if you could give me suggestions to solve the issues, please.
Can you export ARM ova files in final release? Thanks for the stream and hard work getting this release out
Im having trouble setting up the network. .\setup.ps1 runs fine but my network is still unavailable (m1 pro)
I keep getting efi network timeout even after editing the vmx file by changing Firmware = "bios" (from "efi"} any recommendations? Using Fusion 13.5
I love Fusion 13 and using it with Vargant on M1.
Hi. How you using? I want to create vms for dev some in macos vm or linux vm. I using m2 max
This is so much easier than another video where Homebrew is used and QEMU to convert the ISO.
Talking about UTM?

Solved. There might be something wrong in the build 22621.819 on UUP dump. By using build 22621.900, install succeeded. Thank you!
