Questions 1,2,3,5,5,6,6 - 3rd conditional. (අතීතය ගැන කියන බවක් පැහැදිලි වෙන නිසා)
4 වෙනි එක මේ එක එකකටවත් අයිති නෑ. මොකද එක කොටසකින් අතීතයේ සිදු නොවුනු දේකුත් අනික් කොටසින් සිදු වුණු දේකුත් අහන නිසා. How did you/have you come if you had missed the bus?
7,8,9 අදහස් කරන්නෙ අතීතය නම් 3rd conditional. අනාගතය නම් 2nd or 1st conditional. ඒ පුදගලයා අදහස් කරන්නෙ එයා සිද්ද වෙයි කියල හිතන දෙයක් ද නැද්ද අනුව 1st conditional හෝ 2nd එනවා.
මේ වාක්‍ය හොඳට බැලුවොත් පෙනෙයි සිංහල භාෂාවෙ මේ වර්ගයෙ වාක්‍යයක් දැක්ක පමණට හිතා ගන්න බෑ ගොඩක් වෙලාවට, මේ කියන්නෙ අතීතය ගැනද අනාගතේ ගැනද කියල.

ඔව්. මෙතන සමහර වාක්‍ය අතීතය ගැන කියවෙනවද කියල කෙනෙක්ට හිතෙන්න පුලුවන්. අතීතයෙ සිද්දියක් ගැන කියනවා නම් 3 වෙනි conditional එක භාවිතා කරන්න ඕනෙ. එහෙම නැතුව සියල්ලෙන්ම වර්තාමානය ගැන නම් කියලා තියෙන්නෙ 2nd conditional තමයි හරි. උදාහරණයක් විදියට බස් එකක් තිබ්බ නම් මම එනවනේ කියලා අදහස් කරන්නෙ, කලින් අතීතයේ දවසක බස් එකක් තිබුණා නම් ඒ අතීතයේ දවසක එන්න තිබුණයි කියලා නම්, 3 වෙනි conditional එක භාවිතා කරන්න වෙනවා. ඒත් මේ කියන්නෙ දැන් බස් එකක් තිබුණා නම් එනවනේ කියල නම් ඔන්න දෙවනි conditional එක භාවිතා කරන්න ඕනෙ.
