I recorded this using the Visual Boy Advance (VBA) emulator.
Considering the GBA's limitations, they did an admirable job with the music.
IMO, Regal’s theme was the best job they did.

I like how Rock's theme intro is nearly perfect, even on GBA.

@@caitobrown5236 It's not something else, it's the melody from that song which had to be downgraded to 16 bit because the GBA doesn't have enough storage space to put the real song in there because they wouldn't be able to put everything else in the game.

Yes you're right, The Rock's titantron in this game is based on his movie reel style one that he used from late 2000 to early 2001, it was right before he left the WWF for 3 months and then came back with a new theme song and a new titantron. That was also when The Rock ditched his flat top fade with the sideburns that he had since the late 90s, and the last time he wore one of his $500 Versace dress shirts.
I'm sure if the GBA had enough storage capacity, it could fit entire wrestlers' themes in there, because that little sample from The Rock's theme sounded really high quality, especially being on a 16-bit system.
Christian's Blood Brother theme still sounded bad ass in this game!

The entrances in this game are way better than in WWE Road to WrestleMania X8 because they don't have entrance videos in that game.
I love the quality of the entrances...! More so when they costum make their own entrance videos, it goes to show personal care was taken. Also, the sound clips are VERY good for a GBA! That Rock sound clip was PERFECT!

They TOTALLY nailed Billy Gunn's entrance.
Yeah even without lyrics, it's got that _BEWP BEWP_ sound that BOTH of Billy Gunn's singles' themes ("Ass Man" & "I've Got It All", both produced by Jim Johnston & sung by Eric Valentine) are known for. Considering that the majority of GBA game music is usually done via synthesizer (think Mark Mothersbaraugh doing _Rugrats_ music, for an example), it sounds even MORE like it should start a family sitcom series rather than a wrestler's theme.

Actually, the video used was his late 2000/2001 one, when he was still face.
This was babyface Rock from 2000 to 2001 after his previous heel run in 1999. He didn't turn heel again until 2003.

Some of these titantrons are impressive for what the gba was capable of.
I had this game when I was 11 but I gave it away because it was hard to play.
And like half of the finishers were wrong.

So, they actually did a pretty okay job recreating tron videos with the limited resources of the Gba, but that fucking version of Uncle Kracker.
Yeah I'm surprised they got the sound bites of the smashing glass from Stone Cold's music, the "If you smell" intro for The Rock and the "Latino Heat" from Eddie Guerrero's theme.

The quality of those entrance videos are AMAZING! I'm still super impressed by them to this day. How they remade their entrance videos...quality.
This game was so hard to play to be honest. It wouldn't let me grab my opponents. I only won a few games because of non-stop clothelines.

Damn, it wasn't hard for me at all. I won every belt with Hardcore Holly and X-Pac. The entrance songs helped to hype every match, like a lot.
The roster in this WWF gameboy game is accurate (as it was in 2001) Stone Cold's music sounds like the Disturbed theme he was using at the time, The Rock has his movie reel titantron (but with his 1999 - 01 theme), Triple H has The Game as his music (but with the My Time titantron) etc
Jericho had his 99-00 titantron, same with Angle
jerel don't forget the Dudley Boyz having theirs 2000 titantron but there 2001-2003 theme
Undertaker has his 2000 (Badass American) tron with 2001 (Rollin') theme.

William Regal's sounds like someone got the licence to make a Blackadder game but wasn't given the rights to use its theme so they outsourced making it to someone who has never seen the show.

@Sterling20073 Fire Pro Wrestling uses a timing-based grappling system, which means you gotta press a button at the right time. To do this, press a button THE VERY SECOND both wrestlers come close and lock-up during grapple animation.
Best way to practice this is by playing it on an easy COM level, like 1 or 2.
I own this and the rare sequel, Road to Wrestlemania X8 which no one knows about.
I do because I pre-ordered it and it never came to my eb games
I have The GBA Emulator on my phone and I have the WWF/WWE Games and It's Pretty Great for Starters

Impressive to see that natsume had a good run with doing wwe games *that also includes the game boy color version of wrestlemania 2000 and gba road to wrestlemania which were the only 2 games to use the wwf logo before the change 🙂*
Finished wm2000 GBC on a car ride home a couple years back, enjoyed it

They could clearly only fit a handful of voice samples, and I think everyone can agree that making sure to get the X-Factor one in there was the best possible use of cartridge space.
The voice sample they either forgot to include or had no memory for it was on Edge's theme. At the beginning it should say, you think you know me.

@@kidz4p509 Yes Vince McMahon is in this game but you can't play as him because he only appears in the season mode, his theme song from this game in his entrance to the ring is actually Trish Stratus's music from 2001 - 02 and not his own _"No Chance In Hell"_ theme.
