  • @ignacyn5346

    so what battery box and controller do i need if i want to use: 1x servo, 2x buggy motor, also i want it to be good for outside, as cheap as possible. Also it would be cool if knew what wires do i need (i mean adapters/converters, sorry my english (: )

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  3 роки тому

      There's no cheap solution to run 2 buggy motors at full power. If you are ok with a moderate power level then even a simple PF IR receiver and a PF battery box is fine, but that will be far from the full potential. You need Power Functions extension cables to connect the buggy motors to the receiver.
      To run them at full speed you either need the huge bulky original RC unit but that has it's own RC controller and you can't use the PF servo with it, or you need one BuWizz unit per motor, but that's ain't cheap at all. Probably the cheapest way is to use RC components (Rc 2s/3s battery, transmitter, receiver) but that requires a lot of tinkering and it's a non-LEGO solution.

    Hello, i'm watching quite all of your vids reagarding motorizing-programming legos... and i have much confusion:
    something had changed with introduction of sbrick plus and buwizz 3?
    Which is the best now, is there one that is compatible with PF + Pup + Boost + fisical game pad?
    What's the pro&con with the brand-new control solutions introduced in last years?
    Sure many will appreciate an update concerning these arguments from you, since your vids are really clear and well organized.
    Thanks for all your works & vids Dude, all useful, some priceless !!! :)

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  2 роки тому +1

      SBrick Plus has no real differences compared to SBrick as they still have Power Functions connectors. BuWizz 3 is already physically compatible with LEGO's new Powered Up system, but still has 2 "old" Power Functions connectors as well so that might be the most versatile solution currently. Thank you for the suggestion about the video, I added it to my list of ideas, hopefully I'll have some time soon to make it!

    Hello, very informational video, would you personally recommend Powered up or Power Functions systems?

    • @RacingBrick
      @RacingBrick  4 роки тому +3

      It really depends on what you want to do with it and how future-proof you would like it to be. In general Power Functions is still a better choice in most of the cases, especially if you already have some parts. App control can be done with SBrick or BuWizz. Powered Up can be an option if you only start now from scratch and you're either only want to run the stock sets or very similar mocs, or you are very comfortable with visual coding because that's what you'll need to use in the Powered Up app for anything custom. An alternative for control is the BrickController 2 app, that can be used for Powered Up as well.

    The CaDa remote is hard to find. It's not lego so it won't show up if you search lego. Search for cada remote and it should show up, but it will only come in sets. The sets are worth it for the pieces and extra motors alone.
