It's not my time to go
For every sin, I'll have to pay
A time to work, a time to play

This track is almost 20 years old and it still sounds more modern and futuristic than most current songs... Madonna has always been ahead of her time.
colognia dignigad, Erich?
Today, 2021 onward, no electronic music producer will ever replicate this raw, gritty sound that Madonna released in 2001. Its just that good...kek
Having some quirky synths and vocal tuning doesn't make this any less of a song that's clearly from 2002.
@@Nicomanism OMG totally!
This song is pretty dated. All of the drums and synths are pretty standard and the vocal effect can be replicated without much effort on any PC.

This song back in the day was cool and 20 years later and it has aged like fine wine. Seriously underrated!
😆
You are right, she's like a fine wine , or maybee a good single malt.
Underrated.... Despite its massive success, below.
The single spent 11 weeks at number one on Hot 100 Singles, becoming her most successful entry on that chart. "Die Another Day" became the best selling dance single of both 2002 and 2003 and the fifth best-selling dance single of the 2000s decade in the US.

Extremely underrated. Always thought this song was badass and I love that she was in the movie 🎥 😊
She use to have talent but those days are long gone. Give her a Granny for this song.
Her cameo in the movie was fun but this song is by far the worst Bond theme. A mediocre song that doesn’t sound at all like a James Bond theme.
It was never underrated. After more than 20 years it is still great.

Absolutely everything about this release is nothing short of incredible. The song, the video, the choreo, the concept, the editing, Madonnas expressions - absolute perfection.

Her persona in this video (and Cherish) is the reason I love this woman with every fiber of my being! I just adore the way she shows up in these two videos. Stunning. Perfection.
This song is still fresh and completely thrilling. As a huge Bond fan, I remember how 'shocking' this reinvention of a Bond theme was, but it gave the franchise a much needed kick in the backside. Madonna has always kept her music fresh and actively stayed ahead of the curve. I think some of her best tracks are still to come. Her genius is often found in its most simplist forms.

One of my favorite Madonna songs since childhood, music is just my type, still sounds fresh, lyrics, video, madonnas baddass acting. Sigmund Freud analyze this
I still remember the first time I saw this music on video on TV when I was little. I was fascinated by the idea of two Madonnas fighting each other and all that "spy getting away" with whatever she's done. Madonna's music videos presented me to scenarios I could only imagine in my head while listening to music, which later helped me find my own identity. And for that, I'm grateful to her.

The concept and cinematography of the video is great, but madonna's acting is even greater. She brings the grits and presence into every scene.
