It's possible the signing of Juju is because of the inconsistencies of both Toney and Skyy Moore and also Justin Watson had a ankle injury during the training camp.
By alot too, he was like 60 yards short of 1k yards when he helped us win the Superbowl. He was our WR1 That season and was a major part of use winning. I'm hyped
Yes, absolutely JuJu raises the WR floor. Both Toney and Moore are glorified kick/punt returners. They both catch using the basket method instead of their hands/fingers. IMO Moore should have been cut also…
I’ll say again- most receiver hopefuls will play at some point this season. Injuries happen and if un-poached, we will have these guys running routes in real games . Who is on the 53 man roster at day 1 is irrelevant. We need 10 WR’s if we can keep other teams away from the practice squad players.
I would now take Ross over Moore sorry. Moore & Toney had a ton of time to get their $hit together. So to me, if we do go 7 deep, which I doubt but if we do then no Moore and IF you keep Toney its returns only. Not a fan of Worthy or Brown doing returns. You do not risk your best WRs on returns sorry.

Of all the WRs Mecole is easiest to cut because he's easiest to bring back later. None of the other cut candidates are WRs that KC would (or should) bring back if they cut them now.
Why? We have little skinny fast receivers, we need a big body receiver who can catch over the middle. He knows the system, took the Veteran's minimum, it's a no-brainer

Watson, a caliber of players that in the great scheme of things is basically found at a dime a dozen in this league, had his roster spot basically as secured as Rashee Rice, Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy. If you can't beat Justin Watson then you're just a random dude in this league, so you getting cut is not a huge loss. Moreover, receivers are coming out in bunches every year in the draft. Just this year extremely talented players were still being selected in the 4th, 5th and later rounds. You think Justyn Ross is a big body receiver and redzone threat? Johnny Wilson, a dude 6'6 ft tall, was selected in the 6th. Remiggio is a quick twitch, pacy received? Malik Washington was also selected in the 6th round. Not saying those guys will succeed in the league, but if what you want is "raw talent" it's right there if the Chiefs need it in the future, ready for the picking.

The Chiefs signed JuJu and sacrificed a couple young prospects for the “three peat”, NOW. History, that’s what they are chasing. “If” they pull off the three peat this year, we’ll see them revert back to building from the bottom up and maintaining a veteran core going forward.
Chris jones,George karlafftis, mike pennel,mike danna are the ones who get the sacks...we will be just fine at DE, espevially if Chris jones demands a double team at DT.

Go back and rewatch the games To say “nothing” to Moore, just isn’t accurate. He hasn’t had a lot of production, but he’s a decent route runner who knows the whole playbook and all positions. He’s also made some good plays when we needed him. He’s a better route runner and blocker than Ross and Ramigio.

JuJu returning isn’t a bad thing. We like him. Just saying the move is closing the door on some of the young guys whether that’s a good or bad thing.
