This was 5 minutes of I don't know what the fuck is going on, but I loved it. Every second of it.

Gee, just discovered this band with this song! LOVE IT! I love slow, thick and heavy with a good voice! This is fabulous.

PLEASE REFORM!!!!!! Look, I will personally purchase twelve copies of any reformation albums!!! This band are just utterly the actual deal!!!! I miss them!!!! I met them when they toured with Mastodon and Intronaught, and Cope and Pleasants were thee nicest bunch!!!! I purchased an older (for me, I only had "Static Tensions" which I had purchased two weeks before the show.... \mindblown/ The deal was purchase a shirt and get the new album (ie already purchased!!!!) Phil literally came over and tapped me on the shoulder too inform me I had NOT taken a CD!!!!!!!! I told him I had purchased it two weeks before, and he said "So? Just grab an older album!?!?!!!!" And... He graciously signed it, too!!!! They were an awesometastic, humble, power-pop sludge band with fantastic riffs, vocals, drums and bass guitar that mattered!!!! Yep, along with Mastodon, The Horrors, Run the Jewels, Kvelertak, Django Django, Dillinger Escape Plan, Battles, Thundercat... Are why I still seek new music!!!!!p

txmetalhead82xk i think this tune, in particular, IS space rock. not all their other tunes can be called that, but they dabble in it. i mean, the lyrics, the tone and whirling sound effects, even the vocals are pure space rock, or space metal.
The song is phenomenal, and the video just kicks ass the whole way through.

Been a few years since I checked these guys out or have spun any of their older stuff on wax. They've transitioned into something quite strange, but I do still enjoy it. I miss the old bass player :(

Obviously not to neglect any of the multi-talented remaining band members, but on this one the vocal work is outstanding. Philip lays down that low but commanding earth-monster-like vocal base... for then Laura to make her presence be shown, simple and confident like a ghost queen. Infact she's owning the vocals more by the album. It's still your good ol' sludge sound and vocals, but it's evermore their refined, signature sludge sound and vocals. And they're becoming undisputed masters at it.
