My job asked me to complete this for my new role, had to complete the self study in 5 days which they were kind enough to pay me for. But I had to pass or my promotion would be rescinded. While all the dense material seemed overwhelming, and I was stressed that I couldn’t possible pass, I did pass. I passed on my first try actually. The key is to not rush it on the test, read the questions, read them twice and out loud if you need. Some of them seemed like trick questions but if you take your time to really get the question being asked, you can pass. To be honest, I expected the test to be a lot harder than it was considering now dense the course material was.

If I don't pass in the next few weeks, I do not have a job! I have a disabled son, single support mom, separated and I'm doing this for him to provide a better life for him. Q bank is beneficial though. Struggling, the average score 60%....Had my real estate lic, had my massage license, have my notary but this insurance is soo much information overload and feeling old and brainless. Not sure how much time I should be putting reading every night working part-time? I'll try the Cram Sheets.
Passed the NYS Property and Casualty exam yesterday just studying practice quiz after practice quiz topic by topic then once I got consistently in the 90s moved on to full practice tests till I was consistently in the 90s then took the real test and passed! I used examfx for the course and PSI study prep for practice quizzes and tests!

Does Kaplan’s clock stop when you take a quiz/test? The clock (toward my 20 hours) stops when taking a quiz in the program I am currently using. I have finished the content (for property) and have 4 hours left and I just want to do quizzes/tests but it doesn’t count.
You said you took the NV P&C exam more than once, hearing how much of a supporter of learning from your mistakes, how did you know what questions you got wrong?
Hi Gillian, when you fail, the paper they give you lets you know the areas you struggled in most. I’d take those sections and hyper focus on them and tailor practice exams towards those sections. Hope this helps!
Hey! I think it all comes down to agency culture and comp plan. Make sure there aren’t any limits to how much you can make. You always have the option of starting your own agency but it’s alot harder.

I give my new hires no more than 6 weeks usually, it can be passed as soon as 6 days.

is the pre licensing course a actual online class or one of those things you do on your own
On your own, there are other alternatives to having an online class though.
