The true strength of the Khaaneph, as far as I can tell (only been playing about 120 hours now) is that their missiles cost no resources. Essentially, once you research them and shunt power, you have free (albeit comparatively very weak) nukes for the whole game. Just 6 points into the missile system allows you to fire them about as fast as you (or I, at least) can accurately target them, so it's not like you have to make your carrier a 1-trick pony to abuse the hell out of them either. I mean the lore and all that is freaking amazing too, obviously, but the free missiles are a truly amazing advantage.
You really were in control in the first two of these skirmish vs 3 hard ai videos. I am impressed by your skill and multitasking ability. In this one you seemed to get into a sweat at times :-) Sadly I just don't seem to get better at this game :-(
Michel Thater Thanks man! Its definitely more tense when you do a tech rush, simply because of how outnumbered you are for a bit. Improving is all about practise and facing opponents slightly better than you. I would be happy to do some games with you if you like :)
I've taken to soloing 3 hard AI recently. Great fun, but I'm quite sure the AI has been beefed up since you made this video. This looks more like a slightly lethargic medium AI.
You ever think you'll do skirmish/multiplayer on HWRM? Maybe on complex? Your videos convinced me to start playing this game again, it's fun for the occasional skirmish, I choose to go for a full defensive approach and hold until the AI just kinda breaks (surprisingly it doesn't take that long) Awesome destruction!
MrAngelicgamer Yes, I will be covering HWRM in the new year. Both campaigns and multiplayer/skirmish. Im quite a bit less experienced with HWRM multiplayer however, so it may take some time to get guides like this together. Its definitely in the near future though :)
I feel like the only thing preventing the AI from being a more credible threat is its reluctance to use and move its carrier. Three high powered carriers pushing in on that center would have given you a hell of a time.
A lot of micro indeed...But sounds fun to be able to play this good, I mean I'm decent but not as good, and I still can't believe that there are people playing this in 2k22, the homeworld server is a place to find players for multiplayer most of the time
Good quality game play, would love to see more videos focused more on casting and getting to see the beautiful graphics of the battles and less of the overview screen. Great video!
nonnolento Its basically the same role as Gaalsien. Linebreaker unit. I personally never use them with Khaan tho, and I dont think they fit with the Khaan style, but I have seen people use them. It just depends on your playstyle.
not true, game is very balanced and just this Christmas (your comment is a bit old so ill forgive you for not knowing) the devs released a patch which further improved the balance in game.

The most fun faction imo. Provided you have the micro, the missiles are indeed very good.
We all get missiles

Woah you're good. I'm so bad at rts games but this game is so pretty.

Dreamlands eagerly waiting for those :) (y)

Mary Shelley's Monster Thats true. Another thing is the AI never uses artillery barrages. They build the unit, but never use the ability lol.
Excellent work, the AI is rather weak, it won't upgrade and doesn't use carriers.
Yeah once you hold their rush they just fold
atheists that manage to capture the true feeling of the allahu akbar explosions intersting faction
ssuo ben probably my favorite faction to play
I kinda wish you went for the total destruction win, i feel like it would of been more satisfying to see

...this game deeded a Gaalsien canmpaign
nonnolento A Gaalsien campaign would be amazing.

Evan Maraist Thanks! I have a playlist of multiplayer casts as well. Ill make a point of getting more zoomed in gameplay in the future :)
Evan Maraist You should also check out my lore videos. They are made entirely of zoomed in gameplay and cinematic footage. I think you will like them.
for Khaaneph what is the role of Honorguard Cruiser?

thanks
There should’ve been soban and a kenaphe campaign
Agreed 1000%
Did I lie at all today?
go against 5 AI pls
Sentic Alien Thats not even possible. Unless you mean FFA.
great video but the game is extremly unbalanced since it did not sell good on launch developers gave up on it.
