I write heavy handed generally, and I got into brush pens so I could learn more control. And it's a very fun experience

I have the money to buy expensive pens and I have but recently I have been challenging myself to only use cheap sketchbooks a ballpoint pen and a pencil and my art has never looked better thanks for all the tips Kesh 😁 👍

Well people have their own personal fav, some people like me love the ballpoint bcz it's cheap and it's easy to control, some may like the brush bcz the line weight

Great! I'd say try any paper that's more than 100gsm. It should work well with those. And also, dont buy the ink cartridges that comes with it. Buy some India ink and a syringe and fill it up yourself if you wanna same some cash:)

The point you made about it being subjective is definitely true, I bought a brush pen after watching your videos, and discovered that it wasn't really my forté, finding it difficult to use. But I do use it occasionally to fill in large spaces! So don't get discouraged when you try out a new supply and you just can't figure it out, you will eventually find something that will suit your every need perfectly!
