We know from the end scene in MW2019 that the sniper mission in Pripyat(1996) happened in both timelines. It is almost certain that is where the split occurred because in MW1R you get an achievement called "Time Paradox" if you shoot Makarov there . Zahkahev was seen in both MW1 and BOCW so those are linked So all of the BO games are connected and there are two alternate MW timelines depending on the actions in Pripyat. Also note that the MW games are linked to original COD1 and COD2. In those games there is a character named Captain Price. He was MW Price's grandfather. If they do 2020s Black Ops game they will need to canonize one of the endings of BO2. Which leads to my theory about Alex Mason I think that Alex Mason is alive. If the next cod is a black ops set in 2025 you know what would be cool. If any of you did all the possible ending there was an ending post credit where menendez escapes prison and kills woods that would be a cool campaign
If the next cod black ops 7 takes place in 2025, then it would be pretty cool that David Mason and his fellow team can link with TF141 and The Whole team can hunt for Raul menendez and Vladimir makarov as he didn't die in MW3, which took place in 2023.. And it would be also make sense that Menendez and Makarov are aligned with each other. However, Black ops should be linked with modern warfare reboot.
look, this is off topic but as some people know advanced warfare 2 was cancelled for modern warfare trilogies. but what i want to say and want inkslasher to know is in black ops 6, the campaign literally had a mission that was identical to advanced warfare missions. in the b06 mission where you fall into a bunker that had zombies in it, there was a grappling hook that was literally identical to the grappling in advanced warfare, and besides that the purpose of that facility was to create “super soldiers” and “advanced combat.” which leads me to believe that advanced warfare 2 will be one of the next, if not the next call of duty game and i hope it is!

Mw4 and bo7 probably heavly linked since mwII and mwIII were around 2022 - 23 so mw4 gotta be 2024 - 26 and bo7 is sequal taken place after bo2 future scene "bo2 2025" bo7 is rumored to be 2035 and i think character treyarch would cook from the modern warfare franchise in an black ops games would be simon riley ghost
Honestly don’t know why they left him alive and didn’t have more to the campaign after soaps death because now assuming mw4 comes out in 2026 or even 2025 still modern warfare always takes place in the current year are they really going to have a 2 year time jump between mw3 and 4 and say that task force 141 has been trying to get revenge on makarov for 2-3 years just won’t make much sense
@TheOne-ed5ul your right, but they didn't gave us anything so we could understand that MW4 will come out in 2026 or 2025 . In the end of MW3 Capt. Price killed general Shepard and the End. Activision became bold like when a criminal becomes bold when police or detectives can't catch him
I think the timeline of call of duty goes like this (NOTE --number-->/--number--> means split in timeline, --number--> is one of the timeline paths. Call of Duty 1,2,3, WWII, World at War, Vanguard ----> Black Ops, Cold War --1-->/--2--> --1-->Past and Present parts of Black Ops 2 ----> Black Ops 3,4 / --2--> Past parts (Only) of Black Ops 2 ----> Black Ops 6 --3-->/--4--> --3--> Original Modern Warfare Trilogy / --4--> New Modern Warfare Trilogy (Ghosts / Advance Warfare / Infinite Warfare in their own separate Timelines)
hears a theory video: What is the cradle? we know it is a bio weapon, but are the zombies real? does the gas really turn people into zombies? we see it at the end when case inhales the gas.
After the disappointment of the Modern Warfare series, I'm too exhausted to really care about the crossover. The whole story is a convoluted mess and most of these characters aren't interesting at all.
One thing about the new timeline merge i still feel has been unexplained is how is Modern Warfare gonna be able to take place at the same time BO2 does? The events of BO2 are pretty significant yet there have been no references to it in any of the MW games.
Realistically, I think they are going to go the easy way and say most of black ops 2 and beyond are computer simulations. They could also just make it something simple and say a new company started making new tech, and just name drop either JAK the after market parts maker, or even start bringing in Atlas in some new lore.
Victor Zakhaev is supposed to be a kid or at most a teenager in 1991. Makes no sense to be in power at a young age. Not with his father alive (until probably early 2000s)

I heard that Alejandro Vargas called Laswell in MW as Station Chief.
Can all this lead to a Call of Duty:Ghosts sequel, please. Lol
We gamers should remember that Vladimir makarov is still alive and needs to be dealt with
Honestly don’t know why they left him alive and didn’t have more to the campaign after soaps death because now assuming mw4 comes out in 2026 or even 2025 still modern warfare always takes place in the current year are they really going to have a 2 year time jump between mw3 and 4 and say that task force 141 has been trying to get revenge on makarov for 2-3 years just won’t make much sense
Call of Duty 1,2,3, WWII, World at War, Vanguard ----> Black Ops, Cold War
--1-->/--2-->
--1-->Past and Present parts of Black Ops 2 ----> Black Ops 3,4 /
--2--> Past parts (Only) of Black Ops 2 ----> Black Ops 6
--3-->/--4-->
--3--> Original Modern Warfare Trilogy /
--4--> New Modern Warfare Trilogy
(Ghosts / Advance Warfare / Infinite Warfare in their own separate Timelines)
BLOPS 6 Is A Breath Of Fresh Air From Modern Warfare 3
hears a theory video: What is the cradle? we know it is a bio weapon, but are the zombies real? does the gas really turn people into zombies? we see it at the end when case inhales the gas.
Because MWIII takes place in 2024
@beeaggressive160 a year before BO2, yet no reference to anything not even the same technology
@@King_Chasmguardian SC, Mosquito drone Swarm, you can even turn a G36 into the M8A1 with an aftermarket part
Realistically, I think they are going to go the easy way and say most of black ops 2 and beyond are computer simulations. They could also just make it something simple and say a new company started making new tech, and just name drop either JAK the after market parts maker, or even start bringing in Atlas in some new lore.
Would have been dope if sum one from price line was on the mission with sas
Am I crazy or is the only way the shared universe works is if the future stuff in blops 2 isn't cannon
that papers are mostrly recycled like a ton of assets in bo
It is just asset reuse due to the same engine bo6 is using
MW3 Completely messing up the timeline, who was the one who was dropped into the silo by Price at the end of S6 MW19? Well, I wasn't in that silo.
What did the wheel chairs mean that case kept seeing
8:53 it says precious, not perseus
that room needs dusting
Am i the only one who's watching and the vahkaev name changed into zakhaev
I wonder how many call of duty it will take to connect bo3
Victor Zakhaev is supposed to be a kid or at most a teenager in 1991. Makes no sense to be in power at a young age. Not with his father alive (until probably early 2000s)
Vahkaev LOL
Would this Ravenov be the same one that is on firebase z in Cold War?
nah you lyin say what
I hope we can play as younger David Mason in COD2025.
Yes i hope
I thought the zombies story was a separate timeline from the main black ops story
Nope
@ then when does MWZ take place
Only Ogs know he was originally named vakhaev
Vaznev9k
9:02 Precious Cargo not Pureseus Cargo
Not gunna lie I liked bell and even case but I miss mason as a main character man, they could’ve done more with his character before they killed him off and then just a side character basically in Cold War
Ok that’s it I’m giving up on even trying to care about the reboot storyline
How is the next game supposed to be in the future and have Mason if they've said that woods killing him is the cannon event in BO2
You mean black ops 7 which is already got leaked and yes it will tell place in the future with David Mason also known as Alex Mason Son
I love me my cod lore
In the bedroom it said precious cargo not perseus
So was Kate Laswell there for the Black Site?
