I can honestly say. I love the LA version more than the original.
They did an amazing job in casting, while of course Oda was involved in it. But they did it...
They break the curse, and they made it even better.

The madam exchange was one of my favorite bits in the show, such a nice bit of natural chemistry between the cast.
same. the nami and zoro interactions were unexpectedly amazing, i love the way they wrote their bond. the whole cast had great chemistry with each other
One thing that made this show really good is the different accents of the characters.

this is what I love about the casting. cuz it really makes the world building in the show massive. hearing different accents feel like everything about this is huge.
most of OP fans will always love the original version. But this is different.
Especially what they did to Mihawk, makes me love the LA version more.
Everything about him is just amazing in this version.
They really2 break the curse of LA adaptation in this.
I’ve seen people ask how the Strawhats other than Luffy paid for their food and it’s pretty simple. They had money. Zoro has pirates bounties(Alvida’s 5M bounty wasn’t worth his time), Nami is Nami and even Usopp had a job at the shipyard. Luffy is the only one who didn’t have his own money and he’s the one who ordered 1 of everything. The others weren’t paying that bill.
Sadly the directors find it hard to name Zoro's attacks. The reason is... he cant really talk while having a sword in the mouth..

I think Zoro dosen't call out any of his attacks because he has a sword in his mouth it can be done in anime but in live action it would look off

One Piece really did it michael , it broke the curse. What made this so ground breaking is that this is a love action SERIES and not a movie. Imagine if this becomes the standard for live adaptation’s going forward. Imagine a Bleach live action series? Oda just made history with this one

@@theomaimba9245 Your absolutely right bro Bleach live action was amazing as well they even got the Og dub actors to voice the characters in english. I even think they did Ichigo vs Renji better than the anime. Forgive me for i was caught in the hype lol

@@theomaimba9245 yeah bro if bleach were to go the series route instead of movies that would change the game. Bleach and One Piece are my 2 favorite animes. Also an honorable mention to Ruronin Kenshins live action movie as well !
This is my favorite episode from the Live Action series. Everything was just, beautiful. The Mihawk introduction, the Luffy and Garp grandpa thing, Mihawk VS Zoro, the crew teasing Nami about Sanji, and even Zoro challenging Mihawk were all moments I'll remember.
I love this live adaptation, and I love the fact that it's so good.

The whole ploy of Garp sending him after Luffy was kinda weird but it's not too bad.
Sanji is exactly what i would expect a guy like him to be like. Taz absolutely nailed the role.
He's a guy who's a gentleman, but always gets too carried away and comes of as creepy. Thats who Sanji is. Pre-timeskip atleast.
Post TS he is DOWN BAD😂. And understandably so😅.
Best part of the LA is not having to put up with Sanji's bullshit😂

To think this would be my first introduction to ONE PIECE! This not only did it for me being a Live Action anime, it exceeded my expectations on story telling and genuine production quality. Even beats the BLEACH LIVE ACTION movie!
I have a feeling that in future episodes (s2 maybe) zoro will call out his attacks and the crew will tease him for it 🤣

I'm Waiting For Santoryuu Ougi Sansen Sekai (Three Sword Style Secret Technique Three Thousand Worlds)
Well, It's Live Action And It's Hard To Speak When You Have A Sword In Your Mouth
Okay I was waiting for you to reach it. Btw when I saw him use Santoryu Ougi: SanZenSekai I started crying...This was so beautiful. But I have two major complaints about this scene that they cut. First, Zoro not Calling Luffy King of the Pirates. This is one of the moments of Zoro's Peak character writing as he is the most loyal in the crew. and also the symbolizes the first acknowledgement of Luffy as KOP. Second, is the absence of Sanji. The different values about ambition both Zoro and Sanji had. That is an important part in Sanji's joining. (Now why are those issues?? because Zoro did everything only they changed the KOp dialogue. Second Sanji was not relevant in any other scene they just didn't add him to stand there...which made me a little sad) I want to know your thoughts on this opinion
