Big Papi, Domi, Bert and Samsonov all had massive games tonight! Shoutout to JT as well, he was fairly engaged in all ends, was winning faceoffs, plus he snagged that PP goal to boot. Also really liking the energy that the 4th line creates, they were in the Boston zone quite a bit doing good things. Amazing breakaway goal by Matty from that slick air pass from Domi, one of the top highlights of the game for me. Build on this and let's take this series in our favor when they return to Toronto.
Great response, needed this effort in game 1. Boston constantly looking for calls and baiting leafs into penalties is a loser's mentality. If the leafs stay out of the penalty box and limit the turnovers, Boston will struggle offensively. Just hoping Sammy can keep it together long enough for a run.
Talking about old sticks i got a Koho mario Lemeiux stick ive had since 1981 my specialty was slap shots i had a really heavy one and ive broke alot of sticks but not this 1.going to tied at 1's is the best outcome for the Leafs. hope Willy comes back for game 3 that will add more offence to this team, this has to be the year we beat Boston.Marchand well the Leafs are living rent free in his head right now and thats a goodthing, Swayman probably starts game 3 so the best thing is to get traffic infront of him cause if he see's it more than not he will stop it, GO LEAFS GO
Toronto has severely outplayed Boston 5v5...both games weren't even close. I don't JT has passed the puck this season... Edit: Me and my dad were literally talking about how Auston goes ass in every time last night.
