This is the only S-tier hockey channel, IMO. The production quality is so high and for someone who barely has time to keep up with their own team, these weekly recaps are perfect.
Maybe THG as well
@@farmingpotato3372 I like THG, but his style tends to lend itself to longer, more meticulous and / or rambly videos. Both channels have their merits, but for a quick look around the league, this one is unparalleled imo.
You're right, though; disregarding the second part of the comment, THG is up there for me as well.

No way, then he wouldn't be able to call out some of the absurd things the league does... like how they pretend to have progressive discipline and yet first timers get huge suspensions while players with long history get a fine.

For a European hockey fan. I love this channel as it makes it easier to keep on top of it all for me. I can only watch my team play 3/4 live games a month as the start times are crazy over here

@@whyg400man6 from what I understand, hockey has a presence in the bigger cities here that can facilitate an ice rink. In smaller towns like where I’m from we don’t even get the opportunity to ice skate, let alone play hockey.

It’s crazy! I’ve been watching the hockey since the 90’s and thought I’d never see another 70 goal or 100 assist year. Also the first time ever that Edm. and Van. have 100 points in the same season.

I love these weekly recaps. Speaking of Caps, it is wild they have the worst goal differential by far and are still solidly in the hunt.
As a caps fan I’m just happy to see Ovechkin beat the washed allegations 👏 also huge respect to Crosby for his season
Jets look real scary rn after going 4-0 on a central div road trip
The depth is insane. Their 4th line is a convincing 2nd line on most teams. They're literally benching their 7th forward(perfetti) They have 14 forwards that can and have with ease played in the top 9. Brossoit is handsdown the best backup in the league, who at multiple points in the season had better stats than bucky. The D their weakest section has had a revival of their 3rd pairing. They're 1 top pairing D away from being a top contender. The Jets biggest flaw is getting caught up into bonehead attitudes and behaviors. I'd argue they're one of the most talented teams in the league, with one of the least consistent behavior.
This Winnipeg Colorado matchup is going to be insane I CANT WAIT GO AVS GO

I was at the caps game on Saturday and they had the same issue, same section with the curtain open, this time play was stopped because it was blinding fans behind the net.
edit: Jensen walked out of the building Saturday which is a good sign. Carlson's GWG was his 150th goal which gave him the Caps franchise record for career goals as a defenseman.
