In my reactions, I show you my initial reaction (or fangirling) to music videos/songs. I sometimes also comment about technical aspects, or the production of the video if anything such stands out to me. I am not trying to delve into meanings, I only want to share my initial thoughts and explain how I think they achieved things and why, in my personal opinion, they work or don't work.
I give honest but always respectful feedback and would never trash talk or hate on any group/artist/filmmaker/song/etc., if my comments come off like I am, that is not my intention. This is all for fun and education's sake so please don't take it too seriously. 😊

Disco is popular in k-pop since beginning of 2020. So it is almost 2 years. So they are not trendsetters)
But the song is a hit. La di da is one of the best songs of 2020 🔥

I saw Thunderous first which is why I referenced it this way, again not saying anyone stole anything they’re both vastly different. My channel focuses on visuals though so if something reminds me of something else I’ll point it out just for people to think / understand popular elements or techniques. It’s not meant as an insult to either group.

Great reaction! Although not stray kids specifically the choreo was certainly boy group inspired, as BB trippin, who did many of the ATEEZ choreos , did this choreo too. And I echo the comment about recommending Sunmi, she’s the solo queen of 80s retro, especially her last 3 comebacks.
Glad to know that Yuehua Entertainment spends a pretty penny on their music videos :)

EVERGLOW's "LA DI DA" in the black and white sequences reminded me a bit of the Sin City series as well, especially since the movies were in black and white, with certain objects being in a specific colour to represent something like maybe a wound or some key item.
