I’m from California and live in Korea and I’m always tryna spread the Everglow hype over here. They’re so popular in the US but here they’re so under appreciated
For me, Everglow has some of the most insane MVs I've seen in Kpop. I don't think even think that the big three: SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and now BigHit Entertainment, IDK IF THEIR MVs CAN COME CLOSE TO THE INSANITY OF EVERGLOW'S VIDEOS. The production, camerawork, the sets, the effects and CGI, are all immaculate and on a level that is much higher than that of other MVs I've seen, in my opinion. The budget has to be burning through the company's bank account xD
i think its the same case with ateez! :(( they both go so hard and have exceptional choreographies, but they dont get enough exposure in korea which is a shame TT

You should really check them out, I recommend scream. Pixy also has really hard hitting dances but not as aggressive as this one. These 3 groups are the most hard hitting and aggressive girl groups that I can think of.

As a Sound designer and music producer, I'm glad you pointed out how amazingly in sync everything was with the sound effects and how it elevated the MV to that kind of "movie" level. It's very easy for the sound or visual effects to feel out of place in a kpop MV, but this one just nailed everything perfectly. Definitely up there in my top 10 MVs of all time, the song is an absolute banger too.
