Making a Wreath from Nuts and Seeds

Although it's not likely you are sitting at home with strands of identical seed pods... I hope that this video inspires you to play and experiment with items you do have laying around your home. Look at things a different way, repurpose... I'm not yet convinced how I feel about this wreath. I've taken to referring to it as the 'Fugly' wreath. Kind of fun, kind of ugly... one of those things that's so ugly it's cute??? I don't know, but it did turn out better than I expected and... in the long run... I'm open to sharing my 'fails' along with my 'wins' if it helps take you out of your comfort zone and give something new a try. What's the worst thing that could happen? You end up labelling your creation as 'fugly' too!

So unusual! I think that alternating the 2 types of nuts might have had the same impact a adding the 2 colors of berries. Amazing how the different angles make either really like it or not. Love your adventurous spirit and willingness to share.

As I look back on this I’m still undecided as to how I feel about it but… sometimes you just have to give things a go!

I like stranger things. I have always wanted to make a wreath out of acorns which I collect many different kinds. Adding tiny pinecones which I gather those too. I also saved a ton of nut shells. I am going to try it. You gave me the inspiration.
