I have been sitting here spiraling into a dark depression over this beautiful wallpaper that I swore came from the deepest pits of hell. Thank you thank you, THANK YOU, for being the one person on UA-cam that covered this type of wallpaper! 🤗
Thank you! Your patch job is perfection. I need to repair some dented and torn patches on my anaglypta beadboard wallpaper and I'll use your techniques. I do have some spare paper if this doesn't work, but it seems like a good idea to try this first. Good time to warn folks not tot use this type of wallpaper on walls in heavily trafficked areas (like on my staircase walls) as damage is pretty much inevitable. It's marvelous stuff for ceilings (though challenging to install), especially to cover up after popcorn ceilings were scraped off and any sheetrock damage has been repaired.
Enjoying your videos and your humor! @x^D (in some other vids) My question is are you using ROMAN glue on this particular paper and what version should I use? I've been reading reviews and some say 838 and others say 543 I will be using this exact paper in a few days. I am doing four 12' walls maybe 13'?? Anyway would so appreciate your advice. Thanks!
@@spencercolgan My paper is the same like yours but it already come with the glue. I just need to wet it and apply. I will spray bottle because don't want to loose the glue as I have seen in others videos. I am applying this paper to the ceiling does this mean I need extra glue?
Do you have a video that is entirely about installing this sort of textured wallpaper in general? I'm searching but if anyone can provide me with a link I would greatly appreciate it!! It seems info is scarce.... unless I'm not searching in the most advantageous way. Any help would be great. Thanks a lot!!
@@spencercolgan thank you so much, I will do that! Too bad I don't live in your service area but with the help of your videos I feel more confident attempting this myself. Thanks again.
Use Roman 880 or 838. Add water to the 880. It’s to thick out of the bucket alone. You want it somewhat loose. Otherwise, your luxury vinyl will tear during the installation.
Thank you! I now have the confidence to try this thanks to your excellent video and your reassurance. I can do it!
