Tough Crowd was so beautifully out of control. Just funny people being funny and trashing each other. Patrice burning bridges like a pro, and Colin trying to steer the show towards topical stories, and failing miserably. A great milestone in comedy history.
I love how Colin calls out Kevin for trying to do a corny callback to the Rodney Dangerfield bit. Shows these days are full of lame callbacks and get plenty of "clapter" from the audience -_- I tried to watch Lights Out with David Spade coz it's a similar format, but it's full of crap like "callbacks" from all these modern hackey comedians, too afraid to be be anything close to "real" (hard to blame them though with the current cancel culture shit) I haven't watched any Tough Crowd on youtube for a couple of years (I watched this one because of John Marshall's recent passing). God damn I forgot how amazing it was. So many great moments in this episode alone.
